Yeah I'd have to agree with nickjpass. It's not just long pants helmet gloves and back protector for full gear, if your friend were to get into an accident he could get serious burns or infections from dirt ground into his skin. Cotton jeans are barely better than bare skin, but they melt away in seconds. The only and best way to be protected is to wear a full leather jacket, boots, and pants with your helmet and gloves, or kevlar/cordura fabric based gear. There's a reason for the gear.

Notice the crash cage, wheel bar, no license plate, streetfighter headlight...Stunt bikes are also geared differently than street bikes. And he does have gear on.. notice the gloves, helmet, icon chest/back protector... Most stunt riders dont wear jackets because they do low speed stunts, just like he is doing in the video....

Thumbs up for using a parking lot to better your skills. It's better than another SQUID on the street. But what's with the SQUIDly back protector and with the SQUIDly lack of protective gear; namely a jacket?
BTW, back protectors are to keep your back from bending too far... it won't help you in a low speed crash and just looks dumb.
Only time I dicked around in a parking lot with no jacket was nearly two years ago, still have rash on my arm.
I would think he would be better off spending time at the gym, that was one of the weakest attempts to pick up a bike of its side that I've ever seen.

@Marco665 It is his bike, we put it together for about 1300.00 and he used it to learn how to ride. A year later I built him the 929 in one of my other videos. He is still riding and his 929 still runs and looks perfect.

He's in an empty lot, with a helmet and gloves and back protector (overkill?), not going fast at all. Could prolly use a jacket, but that slow, wont save much. Appears to me that he's just getting a feel of how the bike handles without hands on the bars, which is useful.

Thumbs up for using a parking lot to better your skills. It's better than another SQUID on the street. But what's with the SQUIDly back protector and with the SQUIDly lack of protective gear; namely a jacket?
BTW, back protectors are to keep your back from bending too far... it won't help you in a low speed crash and just looks dumb.
Only time I dicked around in a parking lot with no jacket was nearly two years ago, still have rash on my arm.

I have a very nice track right here in Vegas it sits at about 2800ft above sea level there is a track and a dragstrip which ever suits you better I am up for the challenge. In fact you can ride your Busa and I will ride my 954 instead of my Busa and we will see who is looking at who's ass.

Proper riding gear aside, this looks pretty darn tame...and not in a condescending way. It looks like a great controlled environment to get the feel for your bike. I understand the complaints about the no-hands, but sometimes s**t happens and you may end up with only one hand on the bars when some idiot pulls out in front of you, knowing how that affects the handling of your bike can only be beneficial (or am I missing something?).

@Marco665 It is his bike, we put it together for about 1300.00 and he used it to learn how to ride. A year later I built him the 929 in one of my other videos. He is still riding and his 929 still runs and looks perfect.

Whenever I see a rider without proper gear I ALWAYS say something as I know from over 33 years of rideing that you do NOT ride without proper gear and this should be instilled into every single new rider out there. I read most of the comments while I was waiting for this vid to load and was thinking, wow this guy must be doing some totally stupid stuff. But then I watched the whole video, and I dont get what all the hate is about.
He's in an empty lot, with a helmet and gloves and back protector (overkill?), not going fast at all. Could prolly use a jacket, but that slow, wont save much. Appears to me that he's just getting a feel of how the bike handles without hands on the bars, which is useful.

i agree he should probably get a little more experience just riding the bike but i thought he did and alright job for his 5th time ever on a bike. he didnt look like he was trying to pop it up and go over his limits. he did look like he was getting familiar with how a motorcycle feels at low speeds and turning.. there really wasnt anything wrong with what he did. RIDE FOREVER! you'll be on that back wheel doing circles in no time. just use your head and know your limits and respect the power.

@shivanj1 Whats wrong with standing up? Not like he's doing it on the street, he's in a closed lot. If he's willing to accept the inherent risk of falling off and getting hurt/dumping the bike, then that's his choice.
I'm not a stunting fan either, but alot of ppl get into it, and is a pretty sweet talent when mastered. And used in the right environment, like a closed lot.

I am on my 2nd bike for your information. First was a '01 600 F4i that got stolen, currently I ride an '04 CBR1000RR. And I don't make vids, I come here to watch them, not that it fucking matters.
Standing or riding hands free taaches you balance, and in a closed lot on a caged bike carries little risk, especially at slow speeds.
Again you missed the point of this video, he is not showing of to look "sooooo cooool" as you so eloquently put it.
