I'm certified with PADI, if you're interested in Scuba diving but want to try before commting, ask your local scuba diving shop about a "Discover Scuba" class.
Sorry, I'm little late on the reply, but I love diving in Hawaii. Yes it's not as nice as some of the more well known places, but it's still some great diving IMO. Plus you don't need much suit to stay warm! :)
