  • nice bike

  • @jrudis1 Thanks :)

  • looks sick :D

  • @pkev715 Thanks, hopefully I will put another one together soon.

  • say goodbuye to everyting in your carb that ethanol crap gas is a death sentence for small engines

  • @ismokewead420 Yeah, that motor is kinda junky anyways. It look like it had over a thousand hours of use before I rebuilt it. Actually, both the carb and the motor have held up well so far. The key is to use a fuel stabilizer with e85 like "Sta-bil".

Maybe I will make an update vid when I get a chance................

  • NIce job! I'm loving that dual muffler! Did you use black gas pipe? Thats what I used on my Ruttman. I really want a doodle bug for my next bike as I would like something that I can experiment with.

  • @HyperBudonkiDonk

Got the pipe from Home Depot so I thought it was cast iron plumbing pipe if that's what you mean. Yep, the Doodle bugs are easy to swap in all different kinds of engines and stuff. They even have chain guides.

  • are you gonna make a ridin vid

  • why did u swap the motor those stock ones have sooooo much tork!!!

  • @wutangkid420420 Seriously ???

  • @dc5000123 yea man i cant even give mine full throttle without the front tire coming off the ground, we call it the hyabusa killer

  • how did you get the carb on there and where and how much did you get it. cause tillys are pretty expencive

  • @Gibsoner45 I used a kart racing intake manifold.

You can find cheap Tillys on ebay sometimes.

  • Have you tried spraying 91% rubbing alcohol in the carb, with a little spray bottle or squirt bottle? Or using lubricated ether start fluid?

  • @yard1sale1dale

I try not to use starting fluid because it has known to put holes in pistons if too much is applied.

I was thinking about trying different alcohols to see which ones work good.

  • I like the idea of a vaccuum operated fuel pump. I'll have to look into that. Briggs doesn't support Karting or offroad anymore apparently, but people will hot rod these engines till we can't get any more. B&S motors are just fun and sound good.

  • @yard1sale1dale

I have a walbro fuel pump in one of my new engines and it works great.

They do help alot on big carburetors.

  • Really nice bike !I really like your dual muffler up. But it doesnt seem that effective because the Way its hooked up w/the t-joint to the elbow joint, maybe you could try a t joint from the pipe, then two elbow joints so the length to each muffer of piping is the same, if you get what i mean ? Anyways, nice set up !

  • @jimmypaduaa Yeah, I did originally have the T fitting come out the pipe and two elbows on the ends, but the minibike frame got in the way. I did it this way so the mufflers were side by side.

  • @dc5000123 I knew you had i reason why it was like that. How much more effective is the dual muffler set up ? I have the new HF predator clone, and i set up my own custom headers and air intake but stock carb :/ If its effective at mufflig sound, i might go for it. The way i have right now sounds amazing, but its loud as hell !

  • @jimmypaduaa

I like it, it's only loud when your going full throttle, but doesn't echo like a straight pipe.

The longer the pipe is from the engine to muffler, the better the flow will be.

The more mufflers you attach helps flow too.

  • @dc5000123 I like mine too, i only have one muffler, the same ase yours. I might be planing on doing a dual muffler setup when i get back from my trip. Same as yours, its only loud when its at full throtle. Im taking my bike out for some well awaited riding. It flows really well, but how would the longer the pipe be better ? It would just increase the distance it takes to get out creating more back pressure, and the dual muffler w/the t joint could possibly disrupt the flow ?

  • @jimmypaduaa More mufflers will increase flow the most, but a longer pipe will help reduce the back pressure to the mufflers.

  • @dc5000123 Ahh, i see. Well what ever works, i love the sound my clone puts out and how hard it pulls. Goes over 50+ for sure. Scary thing to ride...

  • HOLY SHIT! thats one amazing mini bike man! ive got a baja mini heat its sweet cause it has suspension but i like yours better!

  • @pimpinpenz Thanks !!!! I'm looking for another one or maybe a Warrior I could modify....

  • @basketBallboy235 Yup !!!!!!

  • Man that thing is sweet... really cool man!

  • @jfrost77hd Thanks for watching !!!!!

  • e85 gets more power but fucks up some carbs and eats at gaskets

  • @shinyfuzzy Yeah, I was on a e85 chat forum and they are claiming some serious automotive HP increases with the correct EFI tuning maps. Well, carb rebuild kits are only $8 and this one has held up nice. With e85, you better know what Viton is or learn about it :)

  • Thanks for adding the link!! Great vid!

  • @iexploderacoons No Problem :)

  • in ocala, florida u can ride on the streets but not fourwheelers where i live or else u get 100 dollar fine

  • @moneygirl7g Still, that's cool you can ride them. Aren't there scooters all over that area?

  • where did you get e85?

  • @Gibsoner45 You can do a search for " E85 gas stations " online.

    Where are you at ???

  • @dc5000123 i am in western ny thanks for reply. cant you also make it by using a still?

  • @Gibsoner45 Yes, you can but it's harder to control the octane content without high quality equipment. Consistency is a factor also.....

  • I like it man, especially the exhaust. That sounds INCREDIBLE. Also like that you're running a larger carb on it. I wish I would have put a big carb on the one I built, but it was really for a friend of mine. I didn't get to keep it. One thing I would definitely suggest though, and it's really easy to do, is to get a brake from a motorcycle. I used a brake from a Yamaha YSR 50. Makes a huge difference in stopping power.

  • @TerryFMJ Thanks Man !!!!!! Actually, the brakes are the reason I don't ride it that much. Back when I first started this project the hydraulic brake kit was sold out all the time so I said forget it. But it takes forever to stop without them. In my test ride vid, I hit the brakes the same time I let of the throttle so it took like 40 feet to stop.:(

  • you thought of everything man. where do you riding too.

  • @thegreatkoua I ride around different nieghborhoods during school hours. You live in Hawaii?

  • @dc5000123 i guess the law is different in each state

  • @thegreatkoua Yeah, in the midwest states you can ride on the streets.

  • sounds cool, looks cool, is cool...

  • @TheSpidas Thanks man, I'm trying to finish a couple more engines but I'm waiting on parts still.

  • I see three problems:

1: The fuel pump is in the wrong location, you should move to just in front of the engine and below the fuel tank.. (relocating and re-doing all hoses in the process)

2: running without an air filter? = bad idea and wrong settings (tuning of carburetor ) at least run a foam (less restrictive ) filter.. then re-set carb..

3: the plastic vacuum "T" shouldn't be there, attach the fuel pump vacuum/pressure hose directly to the intake manifold nipple .. make a crank breather.

  • @novachevyguy Yeah, the air filter idea was dumb.

I did it because I was looking for maximum raw horsepower.

The air that day was cool and clean because it rained a few days before.

Gas tank outlet is in a difficult location, and I have a round mikuni pump I never got around to testing.

I have the breather venting back into the intake for EPA reasons...... :)

    Thanks for the info !!!!!!!!!!

  • i like the bike and all and not trying to bash on it but i used to race go karts with the modified briggs engines. you really got that pipe all wrong. get a 4 stage header pipe with a flared end (strait) or a bugle pipe. youll notice a more torque(y) feel. to it. and also pick up a thicker head gasket, disk clutch, and a bosh 4 prong platinum plug. your pipe set up is letting out the little back pressure that give you greater throttle response. if you still want the dual pipe get this <= not T=

  • Yeah, I had one muffler on it at first and it did make good torque.

I just bought a loop pipe on ebay but it might not fit.

  • @dc5000123 dam really nice bike whats the top speed

  • @gaspowerrules It's about 40 - 45 mph...

  • You should ditch the mufflers for a straight pipe, ditch the e85 for some methanol or jus resort to gas, mill the head, dual springs, 94ss cam (no block work required), and pick you up a billet rod for cheap, THAT would be some kinda motor

  • It has a Billet Enduro Rod in it. But besides that and the carburetor, it's basically factory stock.

  • @dc5000123 Does it get up to speed fairly quickly with that gear ratio?

I see you once had a straight pipe on there. That carb you have will work great with a mild super stock or cheater camshaft. With a cam and a milled cylinder head you notice and hear all the difference in the world. Also a filter and adapter fot that carb. It makes sense in a really complicated way but those oiled filters they have on racing sites do better on air flow than open airboxes.

  • It takes quickly as long as everything is functioning correctly. That day I had an intake leak so it was idling way high and didn't want to accelerate. When I first test rode this bike I was using a curved racing header and it was ok, but was loud. I then made my own exhaust with one muffler and that added a bit of torque right when the clutch started to engauge. I'm accually working on another engine right now but the parts haven't been delivered yet. It's always a waiting game........

  • @dc5000123 awsome make a vid when ur done

  • @gaspowerrules Will Do !!!!

  • where can i find one?

  • They show up on ebay every once in a while.

  • @Cmob68 i saw a ton of them at k mart today.

  • I need to see that......

  • what kind of carb?

  • Tillotson Hl239B

  • Arent these like dirt bikes where you have to have the baffle in them

  • U should.

  • You rebuild that i got one i used same motor but turbor jet kit off a honda 300 and a diifernt carb mine faces in the front but nice bike tho

  • Post up the video !!!!

  • i like the dual exhaust set up, im gonna try that

  • those fuel pumps work better if you ziptie all the ends. I have the same one on my Honda GX200.

  • you from usa

  • Yes, California

  • wood you sale it to me

  • Yeah, 400 Bucks.

You have to pick it up though.

  • Real Cool Man....i recognize that throttle linkage...is that an HL239B?

  • Yes, Rebuilt HL239B.

  • nice mine bike man

  • @jokerrpg Thanks !!!

  • that thing is sick!!

  • Thanks, Im trying to figure out how I can put two 5hps on a minbike right now........

  • @dc5000123 my friend and I looked into that. It will be hard but possible

  • how much do you want for the doodlehog?

  • @pinksall1 I will sell it for a good offer.

  • nice video do u have any questions on the video u watched of mine

  • @19PimpyG93 What all did you do to the engine???

  • nice bike mate! i like the way youve got that engine rigged up there.

  • where did u buy the noram clutch

  • @jmoney321123

    Dynocams online

  • is your fuel methanol or meth based?

  • @frenzieddrifter2 Methanol is the other type of alcohol fuel. E-85 is an Ethanol type alcohol.

  • Thats pritty cool, I like how you did the oil drain.
