I live in San Jose, California. The vietnamese poulation is very dense in this city. Pho resturants on every corner, elderly vietnamese couples walking with shopping carts full of bags containing groceries and clothes. From children to adults, the language is spoke ever so commonly. The vietnamese culture is very beautiful and i'm glad to have met so many good friends of this ethnicity!!!

@waanhtarnee They teach vietnamese in colleges in the US. But you're in the UK so check with your colleges or your vietnamese community in the UK. In my opinion vietnamese is easy to learn because we use alphabets compare to other asian languages

Bahasa (Malaysia/Indonesia) and Filipino Languages (Tagalog, Cebuano, Chavacano), alphabetically speaking, are easier to learn. not to mention how to read their language. all vowels have short sound. Easy to learn but hard to read (esp. filipino) because the language can be "tongue twisting".
