I remember when I first discovered Brain Drill-- these dudes were cutting really rough demos of unfinished songs and posting vids of the drummer online. Shit blew my mind. I went to school the next day and showed all my friends and everybody was like "duuuuude, that shit is ammaaaazzing". Lo and behold, a few years later, these dudes are tearing up for real. I remember all of us saying, "Yeah, this will get popular", and I'm glad it did.

This is a genre of music that you either like, or don't like...thats all there is to it. And as fast as these drum beats are, one would think the drummers dam legs and arms would fall off..that goes for the guitarist's fingers too for that matter. As mainly this type of music is commonly referred to as death metal, or grind-core...it could also be considered whats now called "Math-Metal". Very detailed, very intricate and complex time signatures etc....also see Between The Buried And Me...

It's the same principle that applies to Slayer solos.

These guys are such talented musicians it's just unbelievable. This is the only song I heard off of Quantum Catastrophe and it already sounds better than the stuff on Apocalyptic Feasting.
