So mad it closed for this season of 2011! well it ended anyway. I asked the working people when i went and they said that the launching pad/stick broke for hurricane irene! he also said they are repairing the whole ride and it will be open no later than april.

It Isnt becuz of the lightning though. Supposedly the gear box had to be replaced from what ive been told. IN 2005 it closed due to a tear in the plastic on the launch run due to a lose bolt and shredding it!

I know that Kingda Ka is faster and taller than Top Thrill Dragster, but Top Thrill Dragster is probably a lot scarier because they have little lap bars, and Kingda Ka has shoulder restraints.
