GAWD I sure do miss the 1980's. I was a youngster and had the privilege of traveling with my parents to Las Vegas where I met the most lovely First Date ever! And while my parents gambled in the casinos, I was cruising around the strip with her and I vividly remember this song playing in the background of one of our most intimate moments! Sure does bring a tear to my eyes!

I cry listening to songs like this. Music today is dead. God, Please take me back in time, back when Freddie Mercury and Queen killed it with "BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY". Thumbs Up If You Miss Freddie Mercury. :(
Do you remember when music had a message, a melody...harmony, and a feel good nature that left you wanting more? Perhaps I'm dating myself a bit here, but, tunes like this one and soooo many more of this era, artists who understood the movement of music, simply left you feeling you wanted more, not like you wanted to go out and kick the dog or the wife and kids. Cetera is one of a kind and easily recognizable, still, what's not to "like" about these songs. thanks for the post!
@JohnrRysMillanar How true you are. I am old enough to remember the 80's and such kind of talents mixed in with magic moments will never ever again reappear. Trust me, the 80's was a moment in this universe, where the musicians formed a unique way of putting words and music together to a mezmerising whole.
I will charish this for as long as i shall live..............................................
@JohnrRysMillanar im 29yo and I agree, todays music is garbage trash same beat over and over again with stupid lyrics...no meaning for feeling to it what so ever.
@JohnrRysMillanar I find that difficult to believe that you would pass off your own generation of music, unless you are being directly influenced by your parents. Either way, good on ya. Enjoy. I'm enjoying an 80's renewal. We need good music like this back in mainstream.

lol at fcweddington's comment. I will say that most of your generation's artists sample from the oldies and out right steal; but there are some that are wonderfully talented in their own right. In each generation there are diamonds in the rough.... Don't put off your generation young blood, you guys are paving the way for others. Peace Out.
