@brysonisSXE they didnt show up thats why they getting traded because without your team there would be no we and they didnt show up so they have to hit the door but odom showed up though paul acted weak i think bynum and paul should leave and odom should stay so that they can get dwight on the team with odom they would still have that size for the frontline and then they would have the passing game with a point guard that can score plus world peace word metta can hit threes and play d-fence
Yeah, that makes sense melonhead. He says it as if to say the lakers outplayed the Mavs the first three games. I'll give him that since game 1 could've gone either way, not necessarily that one. That's all Gasol's fault. But obviously, regardless of game 1, the Mavs outplayed them in games 2 and 3 as well as game 4. Idiot.
@Hawkhunter07 no it isn't lol Teams lose Teams Win We'll be back while yuor stuck in the jordan era as a bulls fan hows it feel knowing you'll NEVER win another title? ever! ha ha go fuck scottie shitpen in the ass you fucking little bitch! LET'S GO LAKERS! KOBE & LAKERS 4 LIFE!!!!
@Hawkhunter07 Jordan also said i never make promises to my wife in that same quote your are referring to. Today jordan is divorced. see what i did there
@blackadam06 i doesn't really matter if you tell me i'm still a kid because i'm 19 and it's not that of a big deal whether you think i look stupid here. and you keep on telling it sells the fact that we were kids because of our comments -> fyi I'M NOT TRYING TO HIDE IT :| unlike you, trying to win over these little conversations? who do you think acts like a child now? at least us people here are in the right position to act like one. you pathetic old man :(
@blackadam06 haha, i keep on telling you it doesn't matter to me if you're still insisting that point, call me a kid, it's just okay, really it's fun to be a kid messing around with an "ADULT" like you, looking like your lost on words :)))) you don't need to prove anything here because of the way you reply to the people, we already get what you are :)
@blackadam06 yeah, but you can't admit that you're not right on some things, given that what i saw on your previous comments --> "The problem with U kids today", etc. you just want to prove here that because you have more experience than them it already means that what they say is not right because of your so-called facts :| no need to call these people "kids" because of their opinions. there's no right and wrong on their opinions, i can't understand why you need to keep on insisting on that :|
Kids deal in & often HIDE behind opinions when they DON'T know what they're talkin' about.
U often say dumb sh*t like "there's no right or wrong in opinions", well I got news for ya kid..if you're comparing 1 guy to another on the basis of who's "more clutch", one's opinion of their alleged "clutchness" DOESN'T define their ability at it.
That's reserved for how consistently & efficiently they succeed at it, which can be PROVEN.
@blackadam06 yeah maybe you're right about how they use opinions on such matters, but for you to say things that are not even relevant to what they want to say about the matter ---> "kids". when does an opinion of a kid became different by that of an adult? even adults just say opinions for them to hide that they were outsmarted by someone better than them.
@blackadam06 yeah and you still have enough time to reply on these, considering the fact that you're nowhere close on 60's. what? are you a bum or something? at least we all have free times because we're "kids". unlike you, who's already an "adult", instead of wasting time here, why not go out with your own family, or you still have none? :)))) you should get a life man :)
@blackadam06 yeah i still depend on someone else when it comes to my education and living, but it doesn't mean i can't live on with just myself. having a free time is not juvenile ignorance, you're more of an ignorant person who keeps defending that you're an adult and what you say here is ALWAYS right :)))) gah! the topic here is getting nowhere :)))))))))
"yeah i still depend on someone else when it comes to my education and living"
Then WTH are U doing trying to tell someone else to "get a life", when your ass hasn't even established one on your own yet? Do U know how incredibly STUPID U look doing that?
And I've NEVER said that I'm "always right", so WTF are U talkin' about? I've only maintained that your comments regarding kobe in the clutch are wrong, and provided FACTS & evidence to verify it..
@blackadam06 LOL and yeah i don't care about what is here, i just want to reply on your comments, and yes, you would die first because your old. and that because you said that people here are "kids". meaning what? are you in your 60's and still trying to win on a little conversations? it's like you're the one who shows an attitude of a kid here :))
I can tell that you're just 1 of these dumb ass kids, because U morons ALWAYS try to insinuate that the comments from anyone older than yourself, are somehow not credible in their content "just because" it came from someone older than U..
The sheer childishness in that kinda' thinking is what gives U away everytime...
@blackadam06 its okay to be young rather than you, who's acting like you all know and experienced everything in this world, arguing with people here, why not go to your work and get a life man? oh and by the way, it doesn't mean that being a i-know-all means you're cool, you're making yourself look like a kid because if you keep saying to people that they're still a kid, it looks so immature :|
And to finish the Kobe vs MJ. Kobe will get at least 2 more rings and once that happens hes greater. no1 eva n the NBA has had the work ethic of Kobe. hard work paysoff. and every1 sayin will Kobe had Pau will Pau needs Kobe 2bill X then kobe needs Pau. Pau never was a star till he was wit kobe. Kobe helped him. Kobe won with 2 totally different teams. Jordan had Pippen the best d-player that has ever lived and couldnt do anything without him. when Jordan left every1 on the bulls had a career yr
Kobe is a better leader. Kobe on flights he would take players one by one to fix any kind of issues. Kobe made Pau into what he is know. kobe even said that when he was unable to practice the players thought they had a day off. he said once the season starts hes goin to b there pushing them. Jordan once punched a teammate. he once yelled at his players about passing it to Cartwright instead of him. Jordan humiliated big shot Steve Kerr even though Kerr saved them countless times.
btw Michael said he would never let Kobe or any1 score 81 points on him. Will in a game against jordan the year before he retired Kobe score 42 points in the 1st half. Jordan is BELIEVED to be the greatest cuz his stats and frankly the Jordan brand which has brought so much fame to him. going back to the Kobe vs Jordan. Stats LIE. no one knows how this player would of played in that era.like is it harder for a center 2 play some1 like scalerbrine and Adam Morrison or Tim Duncan and Dikembe.
If Kobes career ended today he would not be better than Jordan but... KOBE IS NOT Done all he needs is rest his motivation will put him back on top. ask any player who is currently n the NBA and ask who is one player who got embarrassed and could get himself to win another ring, it would be Kobe (not Lebron just sayin) lik be honest u think there wasnt people who said Kobe needs Shaq to win a ring, Shaq even rapped about it. Kobe ur not goin 2 win. he proved them all wrong and he'll do it again!
Y'all need ta stop puttin Kobe down..hes the clutchest player of this decade n is one of the best players to ever be in the NBA next to MJ..give respect wen it's due
U kobe fan-boys base your assessment of him on espn "highlights" that ONLY show his MAKES, but NEVER account for his MISSES so U can accurately gauge them against his makes, so you'd be able to accurately gauge his efficiency in those situations.
Then you'd have a better perspective of just how INEFFECTIVE he TRULY is in those situations..
Anytime U only avg 21ppg 1apg on 36% shooting, and your teams only have a 8-9 record in ELIMINATION GAMES, U ARE NOT clutch by ANY means...SMH
@blackadam06 kobe is clutch u dumb fuck. kobe has to take over the game when the rest of the team cant do shit so stfu kobe is more clutch than who ever u like
And in playoff games with a chance to tie or win, he as of this year is 6-23 (26%). That means he's MISSED 74% of those kinda' shots in the playoffs. MJ was 9-18 (50%) career wise in playoff shots like that.
He's taken 57 MORE game winners than MJ, but only has made 3 more than him.
@blackadam06 why do u guys always bring up stats . everybody brings up stats and know body cares about stats. and why do u have to bring up michael jordan like come on. u brough up mj cause kobe is more clutch then any nba player TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Because they reflect "on-court" performance and one's level of skill regarding the various facets of the game. Sorry, U can't deny this fact, no matter how hard U kobe homers try.
"know body cares about stats"
That's [no]body 1st of all, and the only people who say that are kobe fans because U delusional cooks KNOW that they debunk your garbage ass claims about him, that is until they're in his favor, then stats become VERY important LOL!!
"Bryant [shoots more] than [most], passes [less], and racks up [misses] at an [all-time rate]. There is [no measure], other than [YouTube highlights] and [folklore], by which he's [allegedly] the [best] scorer in [crunch time]. When he's [on the floor] in [crunch time], the Lakers are actually [outscored] by their opponents."
-- Henry Abbott: "The truth about Kobe Bryant in crunch time"; ESPN . com Jan 28, 2011
@blackadam06 Ok you make very good points and definitely show us real proof to back up your claims. However, you do know that the 36-116 shooting from Kobe in the clutch only counts when the game was within 24 seconds and in the 4th quarter right?
Therefore, with that said, we could easily dismiss those stats because we all know Kobe has made extremely clutch shots when there's 1-2 minutes left. Heck even when there's 30-50 seconds and so on. However, they don't count those shots and if they...
Yeah I do know from personal investigation that those shots were within 24 secs in the 4th qtr, as do others.
That's why Henry Abbot said:
"ESPN Stats and Information's Alok Pattani dug through [15 years] of NBA data on Bryant's [entire career] (regular season and playoffs), and found that Bryant has attempted [115 shots] in the [final 24 seconds] of a game in which the Lakers were tied or trailed by two or fewer points. He connected on 36, and missed 79 times (45%)."
At the time that article was written, he'd only attempted 115 shots of that nature. He missed 1 this past season, bringing his career total to 116.
In his last 14 playoff games where he took AT LEAST 1 shot in the 4th qtr, he's only 18-60 (30%). The (E)xtreme (S)ports (P)ropaganda (N)etwork NEVER talks about that because they wanna use MJ's legacy to sell kobe & to draw in the uninformed younger generation to sell the game & drive back up ratings to where they were when #23 played.
The problem with U kids today is that U think someone's opinion of someone's play is more credible & outweighs what that person's actually DONE & consistently DOES on the floor. Phil once said that BJ Armstrong was the best pg in the NBA in '94, and that Horace Grant was a better rebounder than Charles Oakley, when he's NEVER had a season avg'n more rebs than Oakley.
Now because he said these things does it make 'em true?
@blackadam06 well at least in those cases, you have to understand that Phil uses the media to affect his players mentally. How do you think Armstrong & Grant responded to those comments? He's the master of coach certain personality types & seems to always pull those right strings. I understand your point though.
The reason MJ will always be better than Kobe; Kobe never made his teammates better. Michael Jordan did. He always knew how to fuel them and incorporate them . i.e. Finals Clutch Decision Game 6 1997 NBA Finals. He talks to his teammates and helps them. Kobe always sold his teammates out, whether that was in practice or in the media.
I'll tell you some things MJ never did. MJ never had a $90 million roster. MJ never had a dominate post scorer like Gasol. MJ never rode the coattails of another HOFer for 3 championships. MJ never shot 6-24 in an elimination game. MJ never lost a Finals series. MJ never had the lowest shooting percentage for a Finals MVP. MJ never threw is teammates under the bus after a loss. Just a couple things, but there's even more. Kobe is great... but he's nowhere close to MJ's level.
@MSUSpartans43 Some players on the Lakers are overpaid. MJ had a Hall of Famer for ALL his 6 championships, a great all around player, one of the greatest defenders of all time and also had Rodman for his last 3 (another HoFer) while Kobe for his last 2 championships did not have a future HoFer by his side. MJ shot 5/19 in an elimination Finals game. MJ actually PUNCHED his teammates while Kobe NEVER layed hands on his teammates.
@MJisKingKobesuckss Who averaged more points in the 4th quarter during first 3-peat? Who was the closer? Who didn't have a future Hall of Famer with him for the next 2 rings? Who averaged 30/5/5 for 3 years straight in the playoffs and became the only player in NBA history to score over 600+ points for 3 years straight. Please....destroy me.
@MJisKingKobesuckss Kobe scored 695 in the playoffs, 5 short of 700. When Shaq scored 707, he played 61 more minutes than Kobe lol. By the way, Kobe has had more playoffs of 600+ points than Shaq. Shaq only had 1.
@MJisKingKobesuckss Wasn't Kobe injured in the 2000 Finals? I'm not entirely sure but I think he had ankle problems. Kobe still had a great run in the 2000 playoffs with 21/4.5/4.4 and led the Lakers to win Game 4 in the Finals. Shaq was the leader though, hence the Finals MVP. But Kobe wasn't trash out there, he had a good run in the 2000 and got better as the 3-Peat went on.
@MJisKingKobesuckss Well no I don't agree that his 5 rings have been overrated. He had a big role in the first 3 rings and a major role in the last 2 rings. He has credentials. 2008 he shot 41%, yes, but he had no help. Pau was getting raped by Celtics frontline. Bynum was not there, he was injured and no one else seemed to step up. Kobe was struggling as well. That wasn't ALL Kobe's fault. Lakers fell apart.
GASOL ave 18 on 60 percent shooting vs Dwight. Kobe as always had the most help and has always been bailed out in big games more than any other legend.
Jordan in fact was the man for all his rings. No question thats why he won 6 FINALS MVP
Kobe did have a big role as a Sidekick in his first three rings.
Robert horry in the 95 FINALS has a better series than Kobe in the 2000 NBA finals do we put Horry with MJ LOL..
@MJisKingKobesuckss No, not always. But Game 5 is an example. Kobe had a great game and all he needed was at least one person to help but no managed to score even above 12 points. Where's the consistency from Gasol? Nowhere. That's why Kobe was Finals MVP even though he shot badly. He still put up points and averaged 8 rebounds 4 assists 2 steals to go along with it. And in the Final game, 23 points 15 rebounds.
@MJisKingKobesuckss Kobe 28 ppg 8 rpg 4 apg 2 spg having to deal with double/triple teams nearly every trip down? Including a 38 point game effort in Game 5 when Pau or any other Laker didn't even come close to that.
@MJisKingKobesuckss Alright, last thing I'm gonna say, Kobe's career isn't over. He's 33. Hope this bullshit lockout ends and he can get on playing. Jordan won his last 3 championships at age 33, 34 and 35. Kobe still has time to add to his legacy. Who knows what he can do?
@MJisKingKobesuckss He took 73 more shots. Not 83. Also, Pau played slightly more minutes than Kobe. Of course Kobe is gonna take more shots. He's the leader of that team.
@MJisKingKobesuckss Kobe 2nd all time in playoffs in 30 point games (Jordan first), wheres Shaq or Gasol on that list? Kobe 3rd all time in playoff points already surpassed Shaq and Kobe's career isnt over yet. Career numbers in the playoffs: 25/5/5. Also the only player in NBA history to score over 600+ points in 3 STRAIGHT postseasons. Don't see Shaq or Gasol with that either. Actually, hes the only player ever to do it so..Wouldn't say he has "been bailed out as usual" The guy has credentials
@MJisKingKobesuckss Yes. He should get credit as a leader because Kobe in Game 7 against Blazers in 2000 LED them to the Finals with 25 points 11 rebounds 7 assists and 4 blocks in that game when they trailed by double digits. Or how about in Game 4 of the 2000 Finals when Shaq fouled out, Kobe LED them with 28 points, he hit big shots in the overtime to give the Lakers a win. Still question his leadership?
@MJisKingKobesuckss Someone forgot to mention the 2002 Finals where Kobe shot over 50% on 26/5/5. What are you laughing about? Jordan shot 41% in the 96 Finals. Then 45% and 42% in the 97 and 98 Finals. Still, MJ shot 50% more times in the Finals than Kobe, I'll give you that. But Kobe did do it, so you can't say that he didn't do it.
@MJisKingKobesuckss Bottom line is he did shoot over 50% in the Finals. Why do you keep saying bailed out? How is averaging 30 points throughout the playoffs, winning Finals MVP, having good perfomances in the Finals being bailed out? Look, there are so games where Kobe's teammates had to help him. That's why you HAVE teammates. Don't give me that FG% shit because MJ shot 41% in the Finals, as well.
@peterdabest94 Jordan shot 41.5 percent once in the NBA finals but the whole team shot 41 percent in the NBA finals Scottie in the 96 finals shot 34 percent that series. 2010 NBA finals Kobe shot 40.5 percent Gasol shot 48 percent 19 points 12 reb 3 ass The team shot 42 percent that series. Kobe shot below the team.. game 3 kobe was bailed out by FISH hitting key shots in the 4th kobe was shot jacking Kobe game 7 NBA finals 2010 6-24 Worst of all shot 3-12 in the second half.
@MJisKingKobesuckss Of course a PF is gonna shoot a higher percentage than a shooting guard. The team shot 42 and Kobe shot 40.5? Big deal. Check out out the stats for every player in Game 7. No one had a DECENT game. Where was Fisher and Gasol in Game 5 when Kobe scored 38 points? Why didn't they help him then? They could have won that game if they helped him. But only 1 other Laker was in double digits and had no more than 12 points. Big help right there.
Kobe 2000 NBA finals shot 37 percent Kobe 2001 NBA finals shot 41 percent Kobe 2002 NBA finals shot 50 percent Kobe 2004 NBA finals shot 37 percent Kobe 2008 NBA finals shot 41 percent Kobe 2009 NBA finals shot 43 percent Kobe 2010 NBA finals shot 40.5 percent Jordan career in the NBA finals is 33 ppg 6 and 5 on 48 percent shooting Kobe career in the NBA finals 25 on 41 percent shooting Its about consistency Jordan tears kobe a new one
@MJisKingKobesuckss 2004 Finals, Kobe fucked up. Not much more I can say there. But he made up for it, not to Shaq but to himself by winning 2 more rings and maybe more. Who knows. But I can't say nothing there. He fucked up.
But stop overrated a guy and comparing him to the GOAT MJ when in fact there is so much evidence against Kobe when compared to MJ top 13 player in my eyes all time. But lets be real.
@peterdabest94 trust me you got destroyed. kobe didn't even deserve 2010s finals mvp -> pau gasol did. be honest and ask yourself who was the more crucial player towards the victories. notice what happened this year when pau was non-existent? kobe shouldn't be compared to mj.. it's not even worth comparing but sometimes i get bored and just want to play around with some kobetards. e
@crayrayc You can bicker all you want but bottom line is that Kobe was the Finals MVP of 2010 Finals. Kobe ran out of gas in the 2011 playoffs and just wasn't himself. But Pau? Man...Averaged 13 points 8 rebounds on 42% FG. Great 2nd option right there. There's your Finals MVP.
@peterdabest94 CORRECTION: kobe pretty much did what he usually did (slightly better than the first round, he shot ~45%, 25 ppg, 3rpg) but pau was not himself and the results showed who is more vital to Laker's success. there are a whole lotta options -> what about bynum and odom. this lakers team is stacked there is no excuse. Pau was way more consistent in last years finals and was main reason they beat celtics, but I'm just sayin. it doesn't matter just stop making excuses
@MSUSpartans43 Your abosolutely right, but to honestly tell you I'm tired of hearing about Michael Jordan and people trying to compare players to him. I graduated in 85 when M.J went to the bulls, I've seen actuall games of M.J, I get tired of hearing about these little kids talking about Jordan when they havn't even seen half of his fucking games. The Jordan era is over he is not the G.O.A.T, a good player but not the best. I like your comment though and your opininon.By the way Kobe is great.
@MSUSpartans43 Well Mj maybe didnt have a $90 Million Roster but he had Rodman and Pippen playing with him who are also two of the best players of all time.
@MSUSpartans43 no doubt mj was the best, but your arguments are flawed like hell. The dollar back then was was worth about 5 of ours today. You must be on dope or under a rock to say Gasol is a dominant post scorer...hes soft like a bitch. and last time i checked pippen and rodman were hall of famers. I will say Kobe's first three rings were very dependant on shaq...but shaq also needed kobe as he proved clutch in those series. 4th and 5th was all kobe. Jordan is better for other reasons.
Kobe's never scored over 3000 pts in a season, so how about that?
In fact MJ's BESTED kobe's BEST total pts season TWICE and has BESTED his 2nd best season 7 times LOL!!
The fact that U have to NARROW DOWN kobe's career to a HANDFUL of his "greatest games" just to even be in this conversation, just PROVES that individually he DOESN'T measure up to MJ.
For EVERY great "game" U can hold up for kobe, I can hold up an EVEN BETTER "season" for MJ that blows it outta the water LOL!!
@blackadam06 Kobe scored 2832, pretty close. And averaged 35 too. Close to 37 like MJ. Look I know MJ is better but I don't like it when people say Kobe is not even in the same sentence, he's up there with him but MJ is still better. Just my opinion.
Like all kobe homers, U LACK the perspective on HOW to compare their 35ppg seasons to each other to see who's who. There are GLARING differences between the two..
MJ vs Kobe in their 35ppg season
FG%: MJ 54% > KB 45%
Games with 4+ steals: MJ 32 (totaling 152) > KB 10 (totaling 47)
Games with 2+ blocks: MJ 100 > KB 6
Like ALL the other comparisons between them, this is a superficial one.
These are 2 DISTINCT coins and are NOT in league with each other..
Kobe means C-R-Y-B-A-B-Y!

@blizzcloud
If U weren't such a ESPN zombie you'd KNOW this..
blackadam06 5 months ago

I guess that's more of that juvenile ignorance huh?
Ever hear of having that because you work for yourself?
"you should get a life man"
That's funny coming from someone who probably depends on someone else for his VERY livelihood LOL!!

ShaqSlap13 6 months ago
Kobe is a better leader. Kobe on flights he would take players one by one to fix any kind of issues. Kobe made Pau into what he is know. kobe even said that when he was unable to practice the players thought they had a day off. he said once the season starts hes goin to b there pushing them. Jordan once punched a teammate. he once yelled at his players about passing it to Cartwright instead of him. Jordan humiliated big shot Steve Kerr even though Kerr saved them countless times.
ShaqSlap13 6 months ago
btw Michael said he would never let Kobe or any1 score 81 points on him.
ShaqSlap13 6 months ago
If Kobes career ended today he would not be better than Jordan but... KOBE IS NOT Done all he needs is rest his motivation will put him back on top. ask any player who is currently n the NBA and ask who is one player who got embarrassed and could get himself to win another ring, it would be Kobe (not Lebron just sayin) lik be honest u think there wasnt people who said Kobe needs Shaq to win a ring, Shaq even rapped about it. Kobe ur not goin 2 win. he proved them all wrong and he'll do it again!

"hes the clutchest player of this decade" Oh really? Lets see..
When trailing by 1-2 pts or tied in the final 24 sec of reg season & playoff games, since 1996-97 with a minimum of 30 "close out" shots:
Melo: 21-44 (47%)
Dirk: 25-65 (39%)
Deron Williams: 14-36 (39%)
LBJ: 23-69 (33%)
Ray Allen: 23-70 (32%)
Kobe: 36-116 (31%) <--- officially as of this year
blackadam06 7 months ago
@Derod2012
Anytime U only avg 21ppg 1apg on 36% shooting, and your teams only have a 8-9 record in ELIMINATION GAMES, U ARE NOT clutch by ANY means...SMH
blackadam06 7 months ago
@blackadam06 kobe is clutch u dumb fuck. kobe has to take over the game when the rest of the team cant do shit so stfu kobe is more clutch than who ever u like
timmy8493 6 months ago
@timmy8493
"kobe is more clutch than who ever u like"
Let see..
MJ & kobe in the clutch
MJ: 33-58 (56%)...22 came via his jumper
KB: 36-116 (31%)...officially as of this year
And in playoff games with a chance to tie or win, he as of this year is 6-23 (26%). That means he's MISSED 74% of those kinda' shots in the playoffs. MJ was 9-18 (50%) career wise in playoff shots like that.
He's taken 57 MORE game winners than MJ, but only has made 3 more than him.
U call that being more clutch?
LOL!!
blackadam06 6 months ago
@blackadam06 why do u guys always bring up stats . everybody brings up stats and know body cares about stats. and why do u have to bring up michael jordan like come on. u brough up mj cause kobe is more clutch then any nba player TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
timmy8493 6 months ago
@timmy8493
"why do u guys always bring up stats"
Because they reflect "on-court" performance and one's level of skill regarding the various facets of the game. Sorry, U can't deny this fact, no matter how hard U kobe homers try.
"know body cares about stats"
That's [no]body 1st of all, and the only people who say that are kobe fans because U delusional cooks KNOW that they debunk your garbage ass claims about him, that is until they're in his favor, then stats become VERY important LOL!!
blackadam06 6 months ago
@timmy8493
He's more clutch than anyone today U say? Wow
Go educate ya self kid..SMH
blackadam06 6 months ago
@blackadam06 Ok you make very good points and definitely show us real proof to back up your claims. However, you do know that the 36-116 shooting from Kobe in the clutch only counts when the game was within 24 seconds and in the 4th quarter right?
Therefore, with that said, we could easily dismiss those stats because we all know Kobe has made extremely clutch shots when there's 1-2 minutes left. Heck even when there's 30-50 seconds and so on. However, they don't count those shots and if they...
MW2Addiction 3 months ago
@MW2Addiction
He connected on 36, and missed 79 times (45%)."
blackadam06 3 months ago
@MW2Addiction

@blackadam06 phil jackson: kobe is just as good as MJ in the clutch
i think if anyone knows its phil jackson, also MJ said kobes the best right now, there, done
rockfan96channel 5 months ago
@rockfan96channel
And I'd politely tell Phil no he isn't..
HELL NO!!
blackadam06 5 months ago
@blackadam06 well at least in those cases, you have to understand that Phil uses the media to affect his players mentally. How do you think Armstrong & Grant responded to those comments? He's the master of coach certain personality types & seems to always pull those right strings. I understand your point though.
18brandon92 5 months ago

MSUSpartans43 7 months ago 8
@MSUSpartans43 Some players on the Lakers are overpaid. MJ had a Hall of Famer for ALL his 6 championships, a great all around player, one of the greatest defenders of all time and also had Rodman for his last 3 (another HoFer) while Kobe for his last 2 championships did not have a future HoFer by his side. MJ shot 5/19 in an elimination Finals game. MJ actually PUNCHED his teammates while Kobe NEVER layed hands on his teammates.

But Kobe wasn't trash out there, he had a good run in the 2000 and got better as the 3-Peat went on.
peterdabest94 7 months ago
@peterdabest94
Kobe was not trash moron but a sidekick.
His 5 rings has been overrated....And Kobe fans make excuses for the shot jacker?

Was he injured in the 08 NBA finals shooting 41 percent?
More excuses.
hands down first three rings everyone knows who was the man...SHAQ
In Jordan 6 rings was there even a question who the leader?
HELL NO
MJisKingKobesuckss 7 months ago
@MJisKingKobesuckss Well no I don't agree that his 5 rings have been overrated. He had a big role in the first 3 rings and a major role in the last 2 rings. He has credentials. 2008 he shot 41%, yes, but he had no help. Pau was getting raped by Celtics frontline. Bynum was not there, he was injured and no one else seemed to step up. Kobe was struggling as well. That wasn't ALL Kobe's fault. Lakers fell apart.
peterdabest94 7 months ago
@peterdabest94 2009 NBA finals

MJisKingKobesuckss 7 months ago
@MJisKingKobesuckss No, not always. But Game 5 is an example. Kobe had a great game and all he needed was at least one person to help but no managed to score even above 12 points. Where's the consistency from Gasol? Nowhere. That's why Kobe was Finals MVP even though he shot badly. He still put up points and averaged 8 rebounds 4 assists 2 steals to go along with it. And in the Final game, 23 points 15 rebounds.
peterdabest94 7 months ago

@MJisKingKobesuckss Kobe 2nd all time in playoffs in 30 point games (Jordan first), wheres Shaq or Gasol on that list? Kobe 3rd all time in playoff points already surpassed Shaq and Kobe's career isnt over yet. Career numbers in the playoffs: 25/5/5. Also the only player in NBA history to score over 600+ points in 3 STRAIGHT postseasons. Don't see Shaq or Gasol with that either. Actually, hes the only player ever to do it so..Wouldn't say he has "been bailed out as usual" The guy has credentials
peterdabest94 7 months ago
@peterdabest94
Kobe was not bailed out by his team LOL
Game 6 2000 NBA finals kobe 8/27 shot like shit in the finals 37 percent lol 15 ppg a game and he should get credit as a leader??
LOL SHAQ ave 38 2000 NBA finals
2001 NBA finals Kobe shot 41 percent LOL
SHAQ again dominated..
How many times has kobe been bailed out?
Game 7 vs Houston 2009 nba playoffs Kobe again 4-12 lays in egg while Gasol and odom bail him out
MJisKingKobesuckss 7 months ago
@MJisKingKobesuckss Yes. He should get credit as a leader because Kobe in Game 7 against Blazers in 2000 LED them to the Finals with 25 points 11 rebounds 7 assists and 4 blocks in that game when they trailed by double digits. Or how about in Game 4 of the 2000 Finals when Shaq fouled out, Kobe LED them with 28 points, he hit big shots in the overtime to give the Lakers a win. Still question his leadership?
peterdabest94 7 months ago
@peterdabest94
You can pick certain games where Kobe the sidekick helped out but in reality he was not the leader of the first three rings..
Now where was Kobe in game 6 vs the Pacers 2000 NBA finals? A close out game?
8/27 shot jacking
You can cherry pick games as much as you want but in reality SHAQ carried those first three rings
MJisKingKobesuckss 7 months ago
@MJisKingKobesuckss Someone forgot to mention the 2002 Finals where Kobe shot over 50% on 26/5/5. What are you laughing about? Jordan shot 41% in the 96 Finals. Then 45% and 42% in the 97 and 98 Finals. Still, MJ shot 50% more times in the Finals than Kobe, I'll give you that. But Kobe did do it, so you can't say that he didn't do it.
peterdabest94 7 months ago
@peterdabest94
Jordan age 40 hit for 43 on that nets team in the reg season.
Kobe has not shot close to 50 percent in a finals since 2002
Constantly being bailed out by his team in various situations in the playoffs.
MJisKingKobesuckss 7 months ago
@MJisKingKobesuckss Bottom line is he did shoot over 50% in the Finals. Why do you keep saying bailed out? How is averaging 30 points throughout the playoffs, winning Finals MVP, having good perfomances in the Finals being bailed out? Look, there are so games where Kobe's teammates had to help him. That's why you HAVE teammates. Don't give me that FG% shit because MJ shot 41% in the Finals, as well.

MJisKingKobesuckss 7 months ago
@MJisKingKobesuckss Of course a PF is gonna shoot a higher percentage than a shooting guard. The team shot 42 and Kobe shot 40.5? Big deal. Check out out the stats for every player in Game 7. No one had a DECENT game. Where was Fisher and Gasol in Game 5 when Kobe scored 38 points? Why didn't they help him then? They could have won that game if they helped him. But only 1 other Laker was in double digits and had no more than 12 points. Big help right there.
peterdabest94 7 months ago
@peterdabest94
Why didnt kobe help them the rest of the series?
game 7 Artest was 7-18
Fish was 4-6
Kobe was 6-24 second half 3-12
Kobe was terrible. All he did was grab boards. So did GASOL who had to deal with KG and Wallace.
LAKERS shot 25 ft's in the fourth and were bailed out. LOL
Are you crazy? You cherry pick games for4 kobe rather than looking at the whole series
MJisKingKobesuckss 7 months ago
@MJisKingKobesuckss Game 7, Artest 7/18, Pau 6/16 Bynum 1/5 Odom 3/8 Fish 4/6 Kobe 6/24 No one had a GREAT performance.
peterdabest94 7 months ago
@peterdabest94
Especially Kobe
He was terrible. The rest of the team played there part to the best of there ability while kobe was taking away from team ball that whole series.
In the biggest game to have only 2 assist?
While you PF GASOL has 4 LOL not to mention they average the same amount of assist in the finals 3.7 to 3.9
MJisKingKobesuckss 7 months ago
@MJisKingKobesuckss Okay so he didn't have a great assist game. He still had over 20 points and was grabbing important rebounds.

2004 FINALS
Kobe was terrible while SHAQ did his best to carry his team ave 26 points on 60 percent shooting
WHERE was Kobe?
24 points 37 percent shooting?
Please explain?
MJisKingKobesuckss 7 months ago
@MJisKingKobesuckss 2004 Finals, Kobe fucked up. Not much more I can say there. But he made up for it, not to Shaq but to himself by winning 2 more rings and maybe more. Who knows. But I can't say nothing there. He fucked up.
peterdabest94 7 months ago
@peterdabest94
Ok at least your coming clean ill give you that.
But stop overrated a guy and comparing him to the GOAT MJ when in fact there is so much evidence against Kobe when compared to MJ top 13 player in my eyes all time. But lets be real.
Kobe is not better than some of the legends.

Jordan 40 point games in the playoffs 38
Kobe 40 point games in the playoffs 11
Jordan 50 point games in the playoffs 8
Kobe 50 point games in the playoffs 1
Lets not cherry pick stats for kobe to prop him up
MJisKingKobesuckss 7 months ago
@peterdabest94
SHAQ average more points in the 4 qtr MORON
Kobe 2000 NBA finals game 6 8-27 complete garbage
15.6 ppg on 37 percent shooting
SHAQ 2000 NBA finals 38 ppg on 16 reb
Kobe 2004 NBA finals garbage shooting 37 percent
DID jordan ever play with a top 10 player all time??
Please answer retard? Why do i own u
MJisKingKobesuckss 7 months ago
@MJisKingKobesuckss I'm pretty sure with Shaq bricking free throws, Kobe averaged more points in the 4th quarter
peterdabest94 7 months ago
@peterdabest94
Jordan has 7-8 seasons in the playoffs 30-5-5
Kobe has not one score or ave 35 plus in the playoffs Jordan has
HOFERS? irrelevant Gasol career is not over he maybe a HOFER MORON thats like calling Pippen a HOFER in 92 when we did not know yet if he was STUPID.
Kobe was always bailed out in the 4th by FISH Horry etc even on the early laker days well kobe would play like garbage and out the system..
Game 3 2010 NBA finals Kobe 10-28 FISH his all the big shots in 4th
LOLOL
MJisKingKobesuckss 7 months ago
@MJisKingKobesuckss Go look up Kobe's stats for each postseason when they 3-peated. He has good numbers. Shaq wouldn't have won without Kobe.
peterdabest94 7 months ago
@peterdabest94
And Kobe def would not have three rings if it was not For SHAQ a top ten player all time.
Bottom line Jordan was never a sidekick for any of his 6 rings while Kobe was for three rings.
Not to mention Kobe played like shit against the 2010 celts and his team still bailed him out.
peter=always loses
Jordan=owns kobe

@peterdabest94
"Who averaged 30/5/5 for 3 years straight"
MJ's "career" playoff avg is 33/5/6..
"Who didn't have a future Hall of Famer with him for the next 2 rings?"
Gasol's career isn't over. Nobody knew Pippen would be a HOF either! U kobe homers have some f*cked up logic..SMH
And U can score 600+ pts in a post season when the 1st rd has been INCREASED to a best of 7 series, which = MORE opportunities to score!
MJ had post season runs of 759 pts, 680 pts & 666 pts..
Now shut ya bitch ass up
blackadam06 7 months ago
@blackadam06 Gasol wont be a HoFer. Just watch.
peterdabest94 7 months ago
@peterdabest94 trust me you got destroyed. kobe didn't even deserve 2010s finals mvp -> pau gasol did. be honest and ask yourself who was the more crucial player towards the victories. notice what happened this year when pau was non-existent? kobe shouldn't be compared to mj.. it's not even worth comparing but sometimes i get bored and just want to play around with some kobetards. e
crayrayc 7 months ago
@crayrayc You can bicker all you want but bottom line is that Kobe was the Finals MVP of 2010 Finals. Kobe ran out of gas in the 2011 playoffs and just wasn't himself. But Pau? Man...Averaged 13 points 8 rebounds on 42% FG. Great 2nd option right there. There's your Finals MVP.
peterdabest94 7 months ago
@peterdabest94 CORRECTION: kobe pretty much did what he usually did (slightly better than the first round, he shot ~45%, 25 ppg, 3rpg) but pau was not himself and the results showed who is more vital to Laker's success. there are a whole lotta options -> what about bynum and odom. this lakers team is stacked there is no excuse. Pau was way more consistent in last years finals and was main reason they beat celtics, but I'm just sayin. it doesn't matter just stop making excuses

"MJ actually PUNCHED his teammates while Kobe NEVER layed hands on his teammates"
You're a goddamn lie LOL!!
Kobe punched Samaki Walker in the face back in '02 on the team bus. Funny how U dumb ass kobe homers always seem to conveniently forget that..SMH
"Kobe for his last 2 championships did not have a future HoFer"
U don't know how Gasol's career will end up, just as no one knew how Pippen's would wind up. And U wonder why U constantly get' clowned on here...SMH

Edicater121 7 months ago
@MSUSpartans43 no doubt mj was the best, but your arguments are flawed like hell. The dollar back then was was worth about 5 of ours today. You must be on dope or under a rock to say Gasol is a dominant post scorer...hes soft like a bitch. and last time i checked pippen and rodman were hall of famers. I will say Kobe's first three rings were very dependant on shaq...but shaq also needed kobe as he proved clutch in those series. 4th and 5th was all kobe. Jordan is better for other reasons.

has kobe ever scored 50 plus vs a number 1 or 2 ranked defense?
has kobe ever scored 60 plus vs a 10 ten defense?
has kobe ever won with out having bigs carrrying him?
LOL i can keep going.
Kobe=most overrrated baller to ever play this game
MJisKingKobesuckss 7 months ago
@peterdabest94
For EVERY great "game" U can hold up for kobe, I can hold up an EVEN BETTER "season" for MJ that blows it outta the water LOL!!
blackadam06 7 months ago
@blackadam06 Kobe scored 2832, pretty close. And averaged 35 too. Close to 37 like MJ. Look I know MJ is better but I don't like it when people say Kobe is not even in the same sentence, he's up there with him but MJ is still better. Just my opinion.
peterdabest94 7 months ago
@peterdabest94
2832 is not 3041 pts.
These are 2 DISTINCT coins and are NOT in league with each other..
blackadam06 7 months ago
@peterdabest94
Gasol averages 19 ppg 9 reb 3 assist 52 percent shooting in his career lets not downplay his chances to get to the hof.
You kobe dick riders have serious issues.
