I love the interior and the patios of some of the houses that was shown on this video. Anyone watching this video happen to know what style of architect is being shown here. thanks for the information.... just a fellow traveler in the seeker of knowledge.

@64Albere The houses were built from the Othman period (1516) very colorful with ceramic and patios of flowers. The patios are typically related to Islamic culture, the house aren’t build with windows showing out but the rooms have the windows looking at the patio. For the hot summers they have small fountain of water in the patios to cool the house.

I don’t know more but if you google Othman Architecture or Moorish architecture you can find much more information I guess.

@64Albere The style is close to what called Moresque or Moorish architecture (less colorful) . You can find similar house (not exactly the same but very similar) in South of Spain mainly in Cordoba and Granada.

Wonderful....I was there on vacation in November 2008.

Not only is the country breathtakingly beautiful.. but the hospitality of the people is simply wow!... Algeria breathes of long lost french nostalgia.

Annaba, Setif , Djemilla, Bordj Ghedir, Algiers, Laghouat, Ghardaia, and Tipaza...of all countries i have visited, Algeria remains most vivid in my memory...

My only regret is not having had time to visit Tamanrasset & Tlemcen....Maybe in another life
