  • hiya!

  • @bunionfeet1 Never seen an infant play a recorder before. Must be pretty amazing. Oh... and she's not playing a recorder.

  • @bunionfeet1

Your ignorance is astounding. A Recorder is a completely different instrument, this being a Tin-Whistle. You have obviously also not attempted to play a Tin Whistle, which is a simple instrument, I'll give you that much, but to play it this skillfully is certainly not taught in 'infant schools'. And besides that, does it really matter how complicated or impressive an instrument is? The music is great, you cannot deny that, and no other instrument would have duplicated it identicaly

To top all that, I will also bring to your attention that she also plays GHB, Small pipes, Flute, Oboe, Cor Anglais, Accordion and Melodian. You must consider at least one of these 'impressive', and since she chose the Whistle above all of these, it was obviously not to impress or to show off, but because it fit the tunes and she thought it sounded best this way.

    Educate your self. Slainte.

Well said there Sir! Ms. Fowlis is not just a picture of Elfin beauty, but a wonderfully talented musician and singer in Gaidhlig, is she not?

  • Great whistling!

  • love this! Thanks Julie!
