When I was young, my dream job was to be a journalist. I even got as far as an interview panel, but alas, it was not to be.

I thought that my words would never be exposed to the outside world, and then blogging came along. Yippee!

That was fun in and of itself, then along came YT where we could not only comment on videos, but could also make them too.

So you see, in a way, I have achieved my early ambition, albeit without the financial reward.

Who cares though? This is fun, and no boss!

As a child I'd dream up stories in my head & later that evolved into wanting to be published someday, but then life kind of got in the way for awhile. Still, I was published in a college publication once. More dear to me were the funny stories I used to write for my daughters.

The dream is still alive.

This is a really busy time for the community food banks/ shelter and kitchens. Hubby and I devote this whole week in helping. My dream this minute is that there would not be homeless ppl and suffering in the world. I love your Show and Tell Mondays. Have a wonderful week sweetness.

I think most of us dream or wish for things of little consequence and that with luck we actually unconsciously recieve the things which are of consequence... Perhaps it's symptom of old age decreptitude that I don't recall any specific dreams, however I have recieved far more blessings than I deserve... Family...

When I was little, we used to have an albino horse (with pink eyes). Her name was Blaze. Oh, and my hubby is a cowboy fan too. But, alas, all his Cowboy paraphernalia has to do with football helmets, with stars on the side. LOL

Remember that I said I dreamed I could fly? Well I traveled a lot by airplane in previous years and also got to go up in a hot air balloon. What a thrill! I wish I had video of that day.

Hmmm, that reminds me of a story.

Our house was near a dairy farm that also had some horses, riding and draft.

One day one of the horses gave birth to a colt and after it had learned how to use its legs the farmer handed me some rope and told me if I could catch it I could have it.

Well, I chased that pony all day, through the fields, bogs, a small lake, everywhere, but it was just too quick. I never caught it and the farmer probably knew I wouldn't but kept me out of his hair for the day.

Of course you couldn't catch it silly ! hee hee! But, it might have come to you on it's own if you spoke softly and offered it a piece of apple or carrot. Patience is a virtue. Hugs!

TeeHee, well that was a fantasy job. One where I said I would have to be quite a few years younger/richer/live in another place to achieve. But I guess in a way that dream job was answered because I have directed/written/acted in a few plays in my time. But the awful thing is I can't remember one dream/hope I had as a child.
