hey there....been a complete fan of yours from the beginning, and it was so cool to go back and see one of your earlier vids. wow...you have really gotten the hang of video making! maybe someday i will give it a try also. anyway, i decided to make chicken and dumplings, and thought that you might have one archived away, and yup...there it was...YAY! thanks so much for all that you do...again lady....you rock!

Ew no vegetables please ... i love my gmas recipe my lord its the best food i have ever had in my life ... she juss uses biscuit mix and cuts them into strips ... throws the dough in after she boils the chicken pre hand ... then makes some good ole scratch biscuits and boom there ya go

I didn't really use a recipe. I just used my favorite baking mix prepared for drop biscuits. I added some dried parsely and I dropped them in my chicken mixture. Easy peasy. Thanks for watching and yes I agree with you about the flat southern dumplings. Since I moved to NC I have realized that not everyone does things the same way. Enjoy!

Looks wonderful, I am afraid of making dumplings. What kind of mix should I use. I tried making them when I was young, with a recipe from my polish friend and I don't know what I did wrong, but they were nasty. Please let me know what mix you used. Thanks much!!

I am so sorry for the delay in answering you. I just used my favorite biscuit mix made for drop biscuits with a little dried parsely added. Then drop away and cook till puffy and delicious!

This was so good. I put in hot chili pepper, cumin and coriander in the flour/baking powder/water biscuits mixture. They added just the right contrast to the chicken stuff.
