you should change the title to beta inline because that is what this is and they are so incredibly cool compared to normal betas congrats on the engine :)
Excellent demonstration of the simplicity of the beta Stirling. I am in the design stage of reverse engineering one of these myself, turning it into a cooler...this video of yours has gone a long way in clearing up some confusion regards the "heat fins" position.
I think it is actually a beta inline which means your father is one of they very few to achieve this configuration! twice if not 3 times as hard to run the rods inline! keep it forever. It's awesome!

You're fully right it is indeed a BETA (I've corrected the description).
