Great video, I've spend a good part of today photographing several items for an event. I am using simple clamp lights with 5000K florescent bulbs. Every shot, specially those with white on white is coming out with various tents, depending on which white balance setting I use. I'm using a Nikon D70 with a Nikkor 10-70 DX lens.
@gpruitt54 hey, those tubes are not pure color, they have a tint. your best bet is to use custom WB. We have a video on that look at our channel for "how to set custom white balance" thanks
