kevin-he is the most musical rock drummer out there today. He detests doing drum solos and says it in his Drum Channel 3 part interview. In this very bad clip, the Prophets walked off the stage and said go for it. It was completely spontaneous. FYI

If you understood what the kid just did in this video, you wouldn't be asking such a question. But yes, he can do "Letting You", he can do just about anything Josh has done and possibly more. He's much younger than Josh, and probably will grow to be technically better than Josh by Josh's age. That doesn't mean he'll be better in every sense, or better musically speaking, but I'm just saying... The kid is not accidental, he knows what he's doing.

I don't play the drums, but I can tell that what he did is hard. I wasn't saying he couldn't play Letting You, I was wondering if he can play it and smile at the same time.

Basically, I hope he can match the rest of the band's energy during the 2009 tour. If it's anything like LITS, he'll need ALOT of energy.

yeah i'll have to disagree. dillon was probably the best drummer nin had. his jazz background made for better more interesting fills. he just had better control over what he was playing i thought.

i totally agree with you, i just don't fully understand reznor actual choices, vrenna was great and dillon as well, they had something else, great drum secuences in the downward spiral or the fragile for example, well will have to wait and see, i'm not looking forward to it though

to be quite honest, nin hasnt really been any good since dillon was in the band. everything else has progressed (stage show, distribution, marketing) except for the fucking music! with teeth sucked, year zero sucked, the slip sucked...

the best thing josh was ever attached to was the original APC record. that's it. he bores me in every definable way. he's just a drum whore that will play whatever anyone tells him. so kill the living in the 90's shit, it's not my fault trent sucks now.
