I checked the Dirt 2 forums and it seems that there's a 4-player splitscreen on the Wii, but only system link on the other consoles

When does this game come out?

Is there on road and offroad racing?

and is there more cars then just rally cars?

1. September 8 in USA for consoles, sometime in december for PC

2. Should be rally stages, rallycross tracks, normal asphalt too (wikipedia says there are 5 modes - rally, rally cross, trailblazer, land rush and raid)

3. Rally cars, trucks, buggies etc.; google "dirt 2 car list" n4g have a list w/ screenshots

The original DiRT had some very lifelike detail. Promotional images always sell the game although in game graphics in replays are rendered quite high. I hope that DiRT2 will improve on the original in terms of refining the effects to make it seem more real. DiRT is still state of the art but was let down with some instances of unconvincing vehicle damage and dirt and mud looking very stylised. It would be perfect if some real sim physics were added for advanced players.
