  • Dude thats not even a LEGIT MRE.. you have to cook have that shit....?!?!?

  • Give the guy a break. Hes clearly trying to help people out. If you dont like it then F off. If sht hits the fan hell be eating his doritos and noodles while your eating feces and drinking your own piss.

  • If your making this sort of thing for something like a natural disaster in your area etc incase perhaps the power goes out, you get trapped in your house or for whatever reason you cant leave.. 1) if you have an electric cooker, how you gonna cook the noodles/rice? 2) gas cooker could be non functional for many reasons.. pretty much all you would have is a bag of doritos and coco dust

  • That's less than what my mom packs me for lunch :)

  • Swap the Doritos for a can of tuna...you have no protein at all in there and the cost for a can of tuna or a bag of Doritos is around the same, but much more nutritional bang for your buck

  • add some idahoan patatos

  • Zzzzzz

  • @tourrettes1 is sleeping your tick for tourretts?

  • /no water ? You kinda wouldnt realy be able to survive without water or make hot cocoa ......

  • @polymerclaycreatable well i always carry water on me, and i couldent really put water in the small bag, you know?

  • @survivetheoutdoors water in bag

    you'd be like a canadian

  • @polymerclaycreatable dude your retarded you dont know antting about wilds or campinjg what a loser

  • i use a packet of tuna. it's lightweight, ready to eat, and is filled with protein. I would also take out the doritos. they go bad fast, and also when you're fishing, hunting, or hiking on the trail, you won't want dorito fingers. however, fritos, and possibly doritos, are good for starting a fire. they're are saturated in oil, and light like an oil field on fire!

  • thats not nearly enough food for a day. you should add some meat in a retort pouch, as well as some kind of fruit/veggies.

i find the best stuff on the trail or wherever is something you can just grab and eat, like granola bars/powerbars/mixed nuts etc.

  • thank you for the tips. subscribe for more videos.

  • Not a bad job man only thing i can see is wrong is the rice and ramen noodles cause those are not ready to eat. But like i said great job i like it.

  • yes i know you have a very good point, anouther thing is,(im telling you this so you dont make the same mistake as me) if your going to put rice in your home made mre, is that you need to freez it first, because that there could be bugs in the the rice.

  • add a small esbit with fuel

  • I would replace the the doritos with a hooha bar or granola bar. Nice job though mate!

  • Good start. First drop the knife, i didnt see anything in your MRE pack that you needed to cut and either the spoon or fork. Whichever you prefer the least eating Ramen noodles. You do not need all 3. Always try and save weight. Salt and pepper are easy to add and can make a difference. A drink power. This can improve the taste of filtered/purified water. I like the Gatorade 1 quart mixes(1 for 91cents). Throw in a package/can of chicken to go with the noodles. Get some protein in there. GL
