Yes, excellent script. Chief Tyrol is a spot on Deck Chief, all the way through the series. Grace was the perfect face (Korean lady) for the lover, that much more spicy because it is a massive breach of discipline for the characters in war to be a fraternization with a Flight Lieutenant.
Her last act, to restore Hera to her Mother, Athena, was Boomer's greatest act and choice. She was the MOST HUMAN being in the show and her last decision was her saying FRAK YOU to Cavil and his attempt to make her throw her "useless humanity" away. She regained her humanity and died in my eyes, a hero. (she could never go back to where she was happy and with the Chief, on Galactica and that was the source of all her pain) I hope she and the Chief meet on the other side as friends again.
I don't know if Boomer & Tyrol will ever reunite, but I think they may see one another once more before series end. If that's all we get, I guess that'll be enough for me:)
Grace has said that during the last day of shooting she had to switch scenes between Sharon and Boomer so we know Boomer is in the finale. I'm positive (well pretty sure) that her and Cheif are going to have some kind of reunion scene (I mean he even mentioned her this season after Cally died so its not like the writers forgot about the relationship.)
Her death was tragic but I really love that she actually made a choice for once and that it was the right one...Too bad it was too little, too late...
Still...you never know...Maybe one of the random!8's got curious and downloaded Boomer's memories and once they reached earth, random!8 followed Tyrol to Scotland and they fell in love:)...it could happen:)
@chucksrus84 War will not allow reunification. The scripwriters have done so well to this point, there is no reason to expect they'll go all squishy on us now.
i liked boomer/chief. very passionate couple. but i didn't like how chief tried to dismiss their love when he was talking to helo later on about how he was relieved the baby wasn't his and stuff. it shows maybe he didn't love her as much as helo loves athena cuz he was willing to except her despite being a cylon
He loved Boomer and Cally. Imagine how difficult it was for to watch Athena (with Boomer's memories) parade around the fleet with another man and another man's baby. He had no choice but to move on, and he chose Cally to move on with his life. If Boomer knew how much her absence has affected him...do you think she would be so gung-ho to anhilate the humans? I don't! I think what Boomer and Tyrol need is to know that, at least, their love was real...if nothing else was...
OMG. I just finished watching "Escape Velocity." The scene where Tyrol chokes up about Boomer stunned me. I wasn't expecting it, though I was hoping for some kind of admission to his feelings for a long time. As much as I love Helo & Athena, Chief and Boomer will always be my favorite couple. I really hope they reconcile by the end of the series.

Grace Park and Aaron Doublas had such a cool vibe and great chemistry. Why can't the show go back to a Boomer/Chief? I want them together again, so badly.

I think Tyrol's comments to Helo were fueled by grief and regret. There's no doubt in my mind that he loved Boomer with all his heart.
