However the Simpson's problem is more that they are trying to give up their more complex, satirical and educational standard, to resemble more the Family guy but recently they have shown signs of abandoning it cause its simply not them. (in spite of the Lady Gaga references and loaded guest star episodes - sometimes mangling plots just to shove a guest star in). Seinfeld in that sense knew that his purely sitcom gimmick would lose its edge after a few years.

I just feel that it has changed to type of humor very similar to Futurama, which is to me (and a lot of other people) different from the style of humor that the we enjoyed it the Post-Season 12 Simpsons.
