sylvester stallone is the greatest most inspiring actor of all time. he's not full of himself or anything like many actors who make it big are stuck up and dont associate with anyone who isnt like them. rocky is the most inspiring movie ive ever seen and sylvester stallone and rocky balboa are my idols thank you sylvester for inspiring people all over the world.
I couldn't agree more with AxeManWolf said about this interview but sadly he forgot to mention one important detail that unfortunately I know to be very true, In part 1 of the interview Rock had, I mean Sylvester had mentioned that there is no breaks or fairy-tale storys in Hollywood any longer Yeah I know he wasn't that specific but that's what he meant and it's true. Hollywood is now completely controlled by the elite bloodines of Luciferian Zionistsand no outsiders are welcome.
I liked this presentation. Stallone is an obviously very real, down-to-earth guy, who wrote a great film. And it's such a shame the Hollyweird bigwigs have lost sight of great film-making. That's why budgets are so big, and the films themselves aren't so good. Current technology has taken the heart out of film making, and that's why you don't see films like "Rocky" anymore.
The earlier Rocky movies were the best to watch in the theater. People in the theater would actually cheer like crazy for Rocky during the fight scenes. It was so much fun.
Wow, what a truly humble, warm and interesting character Sly seems to be. Very intelligent, very astute and obviously a great story teller/screen writer, extremely underrated and often criticised, especially by so called 'high brow' film critics, he is a very decent actor in my opinion, and probably more because of his natural charisma and character than anything else. Mr. Stallone I salute you, this monologue was insightful and inspiring, just shows ANYONE can make it, Im inspired! Cheers.
I mean, the fact that because of the parts he has written for himself, and the movies he has made, people, who are not into his kind of movies and tend to think that he's himself a primitive character just ought to view a couple of interviews with Sylvester Stallone to get that other angle - the caring, humorous, hard-working, intelligent film-maker that so many of us have come to love and respect.
The story of how Rocky came to be is just as inspiring as the movie itself, they are a lot the same in many ways. Truly amazing and inspiring! How good that applause must have felt! Way to go Rocky/Sly!
He is so inspiring. He lived in the slums and he set his mind to something that he could only have a million to 1shot just as Rocky did as he becam the world heavy weight champ.
In Dragon - The Bruce Lee Story, Bruce had just made a movie(The Big Boss or something like that) and thought that everyone hated it as they were silent, he was humiliated and saddened and decided to walk out of there with his girlfriend and then everyone started to applaud. Hence, Sly's anecdote is basically a scene from Dragon.
Wow. I wish I took my boxset from my ex. When she kicked me out I forgot my DVD collection of rocky movies. The woman never gave them back. Probably having some other bum watching MY Movies!
A very tallented guy. He really knows how to tell a story. And, with Rocky, he achieved something that very few writers and movie directors did - he created a character that will last for decades. I´m not a Stallone fan, but I really think this guy found some great inspiration.
he is not very intellegent. Stephan hawkings is very intellegent. However i would say he is certainly not how he is made out and is actually pretty sharp, its the same with schwarzanneger.
If you take Stephan Hawkings as a basic intelligence model and you consider geniuous writter/director/actor and leader of richest state of america as "not very intelligent", I really want to know where youre placing yourself.
you can tell when he's talkign about his past and the memories that he's reli living those memories because of the look on his face...he is reli intelligent :D
i love Stallone, but i watched all 4 parts of this and was disappointed on how little he mentioned the acting of Burgess Meredith in the film. he was absolutely phenomenal in Rocky, and to me, he was the X factor that made Rocky the movie it ended up being

i made a movie like rocky, its called `necry` its about a necrophiliac who tries so hard to be the best necrophiliac in the world, everyone tries to stop him, but he tries harder. watch my videos ! theyre the best, lots of tips on your necrophiliac dreams.
What I find interesting is that Sylvester was living in a small apartment with $106 in the bank as he said in Part 1. And while living there he wrote this story which became 5 of the greatest movies of all time. So really, this interview is extremely inspiring and encouraging. This movie shows that it doesnt matter if your a high class millionaire, or somebody stuck in the slums. If you really set your mind to it... you can do anything. And I salute Sylvester Stallone for this masterpiece. 10/10
watseinfeld, i just want to personally thank you for this 4 part series about Rocky. I cant tell u how great it was to hear him talk about Rocky in-depth. thank u so much!
You know, I have favorite movies and I never rank them...but of all my favorites, I keep coming back to this one. I've always wondered why. Well Sylvester explains it in this. The character Rocky Balboa is truly an inspiration for everybody regardless of status.
In my hearts of hearts... I am Rocky! and so are you.
