  • when was this video taken. I was at the Napma convention in 2003-2004 and I did a ground and pound training semianar with Dan Severn

  • one of the best teachers of the sport.

  • he was never a good fighter but a big strong dude with solid but not great wrestling. The problem was he came to the sport in his late 30s and never developed any striking or guard game.

  • I rather watch Mark colemans Ground and Pound, he had some devastating Ground punches, and Dan Severn knows that.

  • @morgall but...who got most wins....Mark cole man...or Dan severn? ;)

  • Yeah this is ground and pound...for MMA. He's mixing wrestling with some ground based striking techniques

  • He is not teaching normal wrestling. But what keynd of wrestling is he training??? he also punches and do same other things, witch are no wrestling moves. ore do he mixed differant fighting styls?

  • Love watching this vid. By far my favorite mma fighter of all time. He also seems like a really nice guy.

  • "...go for a nice little forearm smash...it will make quite an impression." loool dan severn is great

  • I love The Beast.

  • Thank's for the tips Dan.

  • Dan Severn= LEGEND!
