All other countries receiving US aid obtain this in installments over the fical year.
Israel also has special priviliges with regard to how this money can be spent.
In addition there are development programmes for which further funds are allocated.
Many US citizens would be alarmed to know that their tax dollars were used to kill 1400 people in Gaza (over 300 children).
