  • COOL

  • Nice to see it done in a real world scenario, Whilst it's good to see pool or calm water examples for technique it's nice to see it the same process when the going is tough.

  • Is that the Golden bridge? I thought there are sharks down there no?

  • expertly perormed..bravo

  • Outstanding!!! Well done!!

  • Roger's the man!

  • Now that was awesome....doing a cowboy in that kind of conditions is remarkable. Worth noting the superb bracing techniques, including a sculling brace. Wow.

  • Wow, fast and clean! Time to practice, I think.

  • Check out the article in the current issue of Sea Kayaker magazine (April 2011) "Ride 'em Cowboy: Making Your Scramble Rescue More than a Pool Trick," written by the instructor shown in this video. It lays out a step-by-step progression of how to make this recovery work for most people even in rough water. Yee-haw!

  • looks soooo cold

  • Superb! Now I wan't to be in water with my kayak having fun like this!

  • Very well done. He really makes it look easy here. I always tip over trying this out, but at least my rolls and re-entry rolls are solid.

  • Very nicely done cowboy rescue in challenging conditions. I like the way the swimmer keeps the paddle to hand and uses it to brace as he reentered the cockpit.

  • wowzor!

  • beautifly done.. CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP

  • that is impressive. cowboy ( or rodeo reentry) is not easy to do. and those were not the easiest conditions. well done.

  • nice one mate
