We face too many dangers as long as we continue to depend totally upon the biosphere of this planet for our survival. We need to use our ability to ccooperate intelligently in economic relationships to build an artificial environment in the space surrrounding the Earth. We have the technology to start doing this now, but the people who have the power to direct the activity of this intelligent species, trap us all into meaningless patterns of activity just to enrich themselves. Wake them up.
close but i guess not close enough to be of worry... I think we have plenty of astronomy to be thinking of this year... theres gonna be an eclipse, the transit of venus and something else which I forgot... Gonna be really busy.
2006 CJ was discovered by Sliding Springs Survey on February 1, 2006. Not much is known about this Aten PHA except that its absolute magnitude of 20.1 suggests ~300 m diameter (within a factor of two) object. 2006 CJ has perihelion deep within the orbit ofMercury (q=0.166) and it makes close approach (17.6 lunar distances (LD)) to Earth on Feb 01, 2012
