This is beautifully done!! Is it necessary to solder the corners? I'd like to make the fluttering butterfly but I don't think I have the skills to do so :D Thanks for sharing :)
@elicious7t well i think you should solder the corners and any connection that shouldnt move :) look at the helicopter the only things moving is the mechanism not the structure itself
@Lockets9801 yes you need to solder all conections its realy the only way a structure like this is possible, unless you could work out how to make the entire thing out of 1 continuous peice of wire, that would be an acheivment! you COULD' also bend the end of each wire around the next peice and clamp it together but i think it wouldnt look as fine or hold as well, soldering really is the best option!
