~MY SAINT. I REMEMBER THE 1ST TIME I HEARD SRV. I HAVE BEEN PRIVILEGED TO WALK AROUND W/ A PICTURE OF HIM ON MY WING. "SAINT STEVIE & DOUBLE TROUBLE HAVE BEEN A GODSEND TO ME." ~THANK U SO VERY MUCH,....PLEASE DON'T GO NOWHERE. WE WILL BE RIGHT BACK~ ~~~~3-09-1997~~~~L.K.,NOTORIOUS B.I.G.,PAM,KAIL,IRV, MISS JOSEPH & ALL MY EARTHLY SAINTS ESP., ROY E. STAFFORD~~~~STAY W/ME BECUZ I NEED U ALL~~~~
Stevie Ray Vaughan is the reason I'm clean today. I did all you could imagine, I was the one you saw balled up in the bathroom every weekend, all weekend. But even in death Stevie was able to reach me, and help me to quit. Thank you Stevie!
I met Jimi Hendrix in 1967, talked for over 30 minutes and he offered me a cigarette because I couldn't afford my own, what a nice man to talk with, easy going and friendly. I never had the privilege to meet SRV or see him play but I reckon he's in same calibre as Jimi. SRV comes across as a very nice person, almost the same easy going respectable character as Jimi, RIP SRV and JIMI
The first singer of my first band was my best friend sence we were 10,and wile on tour in Germany he stepped off a train and killed himself,I quit after that for over a year.
In the early morning 27th August, 1990 Vaughan died with a helicopter fall on account of close(thick) fog during a trip with Robert Cray and Eric Clapto^you forever A*M*A*Z*İ*N*G^^
i just had to watch this documentary again, its so freakin awesome, i just love the way he plays this rendition (im leavin) it sounds so soulful and tight!

@mindaflame7 un mal dia lo tiene cualquiera. Hendrix tambien toco en algun que otro concierto penosamente el himno. La gente sabe mucho criticar pero poco valorar. Vease el primer concierto de montreux de SRV, la gente igual
Yeah and it's too bad, because I really thought it sounded good. Typical to Stevie, it had this feeling. It sounded kinda sad and hopeful and more like a reflection on battle than the cheesy fanfare it generally is.
To see Stevie Live was a religious experience

realmente que paso en astrodome? que hizo mal?
Stone1944 2 years ago
