@hotpapi17 No, this is the 300HP 4.2L V8 Quattro. It's actually fast and for 169K miles is exactly what it should be stock. I don't know why everybody is hating on it being what it is.

@hotpapi17 Actually this is the 4.2 V8 with Quattro. And it's actually pretty fast. The car had 169K miles in this video so that takes it's toll. It's at 212K miles now and still running strong. These were only rated to go 0-60 in about 6.5-7 seconds from the factory so I'm happy with these results.

@hotpapi17 this is a full size luxury sedan what do you expect its heavy and the v6 does 60 in 9 seconds. this is about right for a v8 quattro

If this was Limitpushing the dumbass would have said this car hit 60mph in 5.7 seconds when thats what a S8 is rated to do. This was 6.95

Nice post. With your car's mileage, how reliable is it? Is there anything to watch out for regarding items that break?

I have personally driven this car for over 20K miles in the last year. The only issue I have had is the battery cable at the starter corroded unexpectedly and the car would not start. Other than normal maintenance, it was finally time for a front end rebuild a week ago (Control arms, etc) The main thing on these cars is to change the timing belt every 75K miles and to keep the tranny flushed (With the factory Audi oil and NOTHING else). It has been a reliable car (Knock on wood)

Well, I just lost a drag race in this car to an HHR SS :( I pulled ahead pretty hard until about 50MPH when he seemed to get a sudden boost of speed (I suspect NOS) either way, we ran to about 85mph and his back bumper was lined up with my front bumper. We had to let off because there was a state trooper driving on the opposite side of the road who luckily didn't pursue us. I am in the market to get an '04 A8, when I do...NOS or a year or so Supercharger!! ($10K)

Although, not too sure if i believe your past comment claiming this car can reach 170 mph. Sorry, but i highly doubt that. Maybe 160, but definetely not 170

Thanks for the comment, I obviously can't prove the 170 top speed, but I have seen other videos on youtube of them doing it and that's just what I hear.

I have not removed the limiter.  The A8 is limited to 130 in North America and without the limiter they top out at around 170MPH. I do plan on removing the limiter, but you have to have the computer recoded to Euro spec.
