Pretty darned cool feature. One thing I've always wondered, though, is whether Yamaha can lay claim to your compositions if you're using their sounds. Kind of a generic question, I guess.
@QueenRocks191 The keys are unweighted but they are graded so the lower keys have a heavier feel than the higher keys. It is not a weighted action like our P-series, Arius and Clavinova Digital Pianos.
@paganini99 The NPV80 and NPV60 share some of their sounds. However, the NPV80 has two "Live!" Grand Piano sounds that the NPV60 and NP30 (and NP31) do not have.
i got np-v60 (after 1 month i )found D3 key lost sensitivitive.on &off. dont phacink know will yamaha cover warranty or not.....(made in china no good.).... but we have to buy !!!!!.sad for me friends:((
Hi, I'm looking for a new keyboard to replace my Yamaha PSR-420 and I'm finding it hard to decide on one. The ones I've found are the Yamaha DGX-640; Yamaha NP-V80; Casio WK-7500 and the Korg SP-250. Would anyone recommend any of these. I'm also in a band and taking piano lessons so it'll be good if it has plenty of features and graded keys (76 or 81). Thanks.
Hi, Yamaha I found you announced new Piaggero NP31. The MSRP of NP31 is about $300 and for NP V60 is about $330. Does that mean the 10 voices of the NP31 is from high quality boards. Or is that the same voice of NP V60/V80.
HI Dave!. I'm a happy owner of a Yamaha DX7 II FD. But are there plans for a new FM synth any time soon? With Yamaha FM synths, I really miss a nice programing surface on a FM synth that gives full knob/button covarage of all parameters without the need of menu diving on a small display. People keeps selling their Yamaha FM synths becuase they are a pain to program.
i used this in my composition :D

@MrTritran If it's only a month old, it should be covered under warranty.

almost too good to be true, can it record what I play?
MrArty303 6 months ago
@MrArty303 It can. The NP-V80 has a song recorder capable of capturing 5 individual tracks in addition to your Style performance.

Is this keyboard good for begginers?
gloomyreflection 7 months ago
I have some questions here.
1st: Do the keys feel like a real piano or are they soft, like an average synthesizer?
2d: Should I get the Casio px-130 instead?
3d: Are the Casio px-130's keys soft or do they feel like a real piano?
Thanks for answering! :)

@KingOfShadows1500 The NP-V80 keys are not weighted but they are graded so the lower keys have a heavier touch than the higher keys.
YamahaKeysUS 7 months ago
@KingOfShadows1500 Why would you ask a Yamaha store if you should buy a Casio px130 instead ??? Think first then ask questions son:(

@Robbinsffxi Although it's discontinued, do a search for the Yamaha DX200.
