They should put Iraqi SOF in the next Call of Duty Modern Warfare series. The Iraqi army in Call of Duty Modern Warfare 1 look fucking stupid look like Old Iraqi army. What I like about new Iraqi Army, SOF, SWAT, and Police is that they wear digital camouflage (desert ACU /blue woodland/Digital Woodland ACU), weapons, body armor vest, knee / elbow pads, night vision goggles, and other equipment. They should also add Iranian Special Ops from Army & IRGC which they still US BDU and desert digital)

@Grunoloj It's called clearing rooms/buildings asshole. And yes, sometimes civilians are in the buildings. That's why you hear the soldiers yelling "Get down!" To get them out of harms way. i belive the standard army isseu is the m16a4 but special forces use the m4

i dunno about america but here in holland special forces can deside for themselves what to put on their weapons silencers,aim point, vertical handgrips are the most populair and you have numerous stores were soldiers buy attachments and gear for themselves before deployment to afganistan

@gazzthompson ... the M4 and M4a1 are the same thing bro, the standard rifle for the army is the same for everyone special forces or not, and alot of marines us the M4 too, just like alot of the army still uses the M16...

Thats incorrect, the m4a1 is safe-semi-auto the (special foces) the m4 (us army) is safe-semi-3 burst.

The us army's main weapon is the m4, you will find it hard to find a current picture of a US army soldier with an m16. On the other hand the USMC use m16s on mass, with officers and corpsman and a few other select roles using m4's

I just saw on your profile your a Motor Transport Operator, so you will be more qualified to comment but i think you'll find everything i said correct.

Yes US army use m16 (but m4 is most common) and yes USMC use m4's but m16 is more common for the "grunt"

And as i said, US special operations use m4a1 which of course is still an "m4" but has different fire select (full auto instead of burst)

@gazzthompson In my unit, (3rd Special Forces Group) everyone in my company (which is a support company) uses m4a1's which are safe to semi to full auto. The a-team guys in my group (the actual green berets) use the same rifles... albeit a little more custom. Every M4 I've ever handled in the Army was the same, but yes standard for army is m4 its mostly only reserve units that deploy with m16s and basic and AIT still use m16s, it was just recently the marines decided to make the switch m16 to m4

@SuperUSmilitary um... my personal opinion? I've never fired an AUG so i'd say the M4, it's the easiest to handle weapon i've ever fired before, easy to clean and operate, but the AUG is a bad ass rifle it has a longer barrel and is shorter, same size round, a little bit lighter maybe not as durable since most of it is plastic, but is easy to operate as well. they are on par, but if i had a choice id say M4 because i've had extensive use with them.
