a friend gave me the whole album to listen to I listened to it last night & stayed up until 4 in the morn listenin to the album& had the lights off and was sittin on my kid car seat(nostalia being the reason) & at this time I was worried about my girlfriend (her dad doesnt want us dating and shes constantly in pain) and my grades and getting my parents off my back/etc & depression struck in so i was a wreck. after listening to it lets just say he couldnt have chosen a better album.. so beautiful
The first song i heard that made me love them, the dissonance was a turn off at first but now i can listen to a guitar propped up against an amp all day long! Thanks, finally i can play this song properly due to this accoustic version
Hahaha, I've been listening to this band for about 20 years, and have owned dirty for about 15 of those... And I only just realised I've been singing along the wrong lyrics... Until now, I thought it said "The way your eyes just look like glue!" :D

Whenever I hear this version, I always visualize flies hitting lanterns late at night, in a woodsy area. Normally something like that shouldn't comfort you, but this song makes you comfortable for about anything. Sonic Youth is that goddamn amazing: they can make things so much more beautiful when you listen to them, and you can understand them more, but otherwise, those things might bore you. How can you NOT love them?
