@espionage84 Bro, when you're shifting physically that's called manual shifting. There's no such thing as automatic when you're the one who's shifting the gear. -.-" It's called Semi-Automatic. It means you can shift to automatic or manual whenever you like. Lol, what a ricer.
@MRxLAGGER lol using the paddle shifts doesnt not negate the fact that the car uses a torque converter which means its an automatic gearbox. lol get ur facts right.
@espionage84 LOL, so that means a ferrari enzo is manual? you're a fuckin dumb ass. I'm not talking about fuel economy crap. LOL, If you're shifting your car gears physically that means it's manual. Have you heard of the dictionary before? Try looking for the word "semi-automatic". my facts are straight. you're just too dumb to know.
@MRxLAGGER a ferrari uses a dual clutch gearbox. i would at least expect you to know that. just like all VW cars, the R35, the Evo SST, Porsche PDK. They do not use a torque converter like the Civic FD1. And although those cars can shift automatically, they are classified under DUAL CLUTCH gearboxes. A manual is one with H-pattern shifter and requires a clutch pedal. U sure u got your facts right? having a manual shifting mode on an automatic gearbox does not make it a manual.
@MRxLAGGER either ways shifting the automatic gearbox into "manual-shifting" mode does not make it 1 second faster. and u know why you dont hear vtec? its the r-series engine's vtec isnt a traditional vtec. the vtec in this car is for economy. under normal load its on the big cam already. when it senses the car is cruising it shifts to the small cam for economy. know your car before commenting. ur embarrassing yourself.
@espionage84 maybe because he doesn't have a lot of petrol in the tank so the car is a bit lighter or driving conditions were really good when he did this run.
Ya in 2006 when Honda redesigned the Civic they added a 5 speed compact automatic transmission, which shifts a bit faster to help accelerate with it's 1.8 soch vtec. Nothing crazy, but it does the job, very reliable car i've had mine for 3 years.
Check my vids got all kind of hondas k24's k20z's ... Give me feedback! :)
