  • My dog opens doors :) And she had 20 puppies :)

  • Please help

  • I also have one Dalmatian puppy how can I train him same like this

  • Very smart puppy!

  • *A* So smart.

  • aww shes very smart indeed. we had a golden retreeiver and he was smart hed so anything for food lol.

  • really inspiring to see what you can teach your puppy. my baby maddy is a 3 month old dalmatian (curled up beside me now). really interested in getting a clicker to help us out with training. she already knows sit, stay, and always waits before her dinner.

  • All dalmatians are smart. People often don't realise it because dallies get bored easy and seem to act silly. Truth is they get bored BECAUSE they are smart and need lots of stimulation. You are doing a great job with her. Now I feel bad about my two coz I haven't taught them anywhere NEAR that much LOL They do know how to ring a bell to go outside tho!

  • This is the cutest thing i've ever seen ! i'm going to get a dalmatian soon and i hope i'll be able to get it as smart as Andie. any advices ? and thank you.

  • Amazing dog! So precious!

  • aww, reminds me of my lab sasha, she's much too old to do any of these things anymore.

  • My name is Andrea but I go by Andi xD

    Adorable dog~

  • hey how did you teach her? have my puppy and its is impossible :S

  • questions: how long did it take to train her? did she learn right away? how often a day did u train?

  • She’s gorgeous!!! May I ask how you trained her?

  • amazing.....i didnt know they can learn all these things..:-)

  • Your Dalmatian is SO smart! I love Dalmatians...Their my favorite dogs! I enjoyed your Video!

  • Hahah the whole video I was like "WTF, were does the music come from?!", bur then I realized it was in the video xD

  • First of all I just want to say that I LOVED this and she's one of the cutest dog I have ever seen! ;')

But there's just one thing, if you're going to say "Andie" all the time, she will stop listening to it, it will not meen anything for her if you say it before every command.

    Loved the video though! :)

  • @Juliistah Thank you...when she was younger we had to say her name before giving her commands to get her attention. Being a dalmatian and a puppy it was hard to keep her attention.

She doesn't need her name said before commands, and as I commented above, she knows all of her commands via hand signals so we don't need to even verbally tell her any tricks any more either.

  • Why is your voice so hard when you tell her commandos? She will do it also when you talk softer :-)

  • Ive heard its better to give dog praise when they do something good rather than treats cuz the treats make them fatter (but its not bad to give them treats.)

  • People just say they're hard to train cause majority of Dalmatians are reportedly born deaf. But they're a pretty smart breed and I'm sure, deaf or not, with patience and persistence, they can be trained. Wonderful energetic breed.

  • @giochavez361 Deafness is a huge genetical concern, but it doesn't affect the majority of dalmatians. Most have normal hearing. However, just like you said, a dog that cannot hear well can make an excellent companion with appropriate training. ;)

  • just a question how to you train her to crawl its awsome and also im in canada ottawa and i been looking for this breed but there not around you never see dalmation i had one as a kid and he passed away when i was 17 and i loved that dog my fav find now that i havemy own family i want them to grow up with one they are mans best friend amazing dogs thanks for sharing this video very smart dog cute to

  • I really want a dalmation...but I cant get one until I finsh uni which is in another 2 years :(

  • I miss my Dal. she was a wonderfull dog. Her name was Moncha, it means spots in spanish. I had her for 13 years. God gave me extra time with her. charish every moment with your dalmatian.

  • i have a 6 month old dal boy named chief. He knows a few commands but not that many! he is a good boy..tons of energy..

  • Good training. Not too fast, I think. I've had Dals for 30 yrs. If she can follow quick commands, it keeps her busy and out of trouble!

  • she is so darling.

  • i can't believe people say that Dalmatians are "hard to train". All dogs are trainable.

  • She is lovely :)

  • You have done very well with her. Enjoy her life with you. Dals are very good companions and very lovable. We have 2 now and 1 before these. Loads of fun.

  • The bow was impressive! She's really smart

  • i like the bow trick. not a lot of dogs know that one! i see cats do it all the time after sleeping though haha

  • I was wondering how u talt her this

  • I think you say the commands too fast.

  • @xInstinctful She is a genius... she knows all of her tricks via hand signals too.

  • Andie is a girl's name?

  • @dropdudesmasher

Yes it can be short for Andrea and it is spelled with the more effeminate IE on the end instead of a Y.

Plus it fits her which is a lot more than I can say for some of the stupid dog names I hear at the park.

  • sooo cute clever puppy!! mine's only 4 and half months old tryna teach him tricks like my other 2 doggies they do everything but he'll only sit when he feels like it lol!!

  • this 's totally cool , but one question , I see u're giving her some food as a reward , what kind of food u're giving her , I mean is it like a snake ??!

  • @mydayisnight I mean snack sorry :S

  • Hi, how do you teach your dog to learn these commands? I am going to have a Dalmatian dog soon myself and would love to train him like this...amazing!!!

  • Soo cute!!!

  • how can u train em? is it a program on internet or something cuz my puppy wouldent do any trick with only food and i couldnt stay without feeding him when he opened his cute eyes to begg for food it was so sweeeeeeeet with he got kidnaped like 4 months agoooo i miss him

  • That is one beautiful and smart pup you've got there :)

  • As of today, 1 in 6414 people dislike dalmatian puppies. Hoping they were just having a bad day.

  • awwww shes well clever :O

  • Shes a beautiful Dal ;)

  • Omg she is sooo cute. My dalmatian is 9 months and all i can get her to do is sit, stand and lay down and give hugs. How did u train andie?

  • Awww Andie is just so cute XD ! I also have a dalmatian and she's 3 years old

  • The only thing making me want a dalmation is watching sublime music videos with lou dog. Rest in Peace Brad Nowell.

  • how do you get her to do these! i have a 5 month old and i really want to do these with him as its mentally stimulating for him

  • I used a device called a clicker to train Andie. Basically its a form of conditioning where the dog associates the noise the clicker makes with something positive ie.(treats, praise, toys). You command the dog to do something and if the dog properly performs the command you click and immediately give the dog a treat, soon the dog associates the sound with something good they did. Once the dog consistently performs the commands for you, you can stop clicking and the dog will still do the trick

  • @pbrascal37 Were can you get this Clicker

    Im from the UK

  • that's one smart dog holy shit

  • she also does BANG BANG where you pretend to shoot with your fingers and she falls on her back like she's been shot, and reads paper to do her commands.

  • Crawl is my fav - made me laugh! Going to try that one on our Dally!

  • Very responsible of you to disciplin your dog :)!

  • sweet dog

  • she's an energetic little girl! she's very smart too! :)

  • Very smart puppy :)

  • that was my doggie. im shondas son. shes the one i wanted to keep but at least shes in a good home.
