Carlisle needs to get Barea more involved. He played 14 less minutes than Kidd, but got more assists. Kidd was great for three quarters, but I dont know what happened in that fourth. Playing the Nuggets is like getting slapped for free, they slap you until the referee calls the foul, Carmelo Anthony got 4 fouls in three quarters, so if we get those role guys on foul trouble, we can win easy. And like somedy said, be more aggresive driving to the basket.

LK is a hustler but also does get emotional and that's where his inconsistencies come in. other than that, he has a great ability to score when he's hot, like j.r. but obviously j.r. gets more support from k-mart and billups, melo, they're all in that one group and LK gets left out sometimes.

i think the best thing is to support our whole team no matter who's on their slump or who's "shitty," - that just makes matters worse.

The Thugs are just simply allowed to slap around their opponents without penalty because it's their "physical style" or some shit. No way the more physical team has eleven fewer fouls than the less physical team. (Billups' intentional foul at the end doesn't count.)

Mavs had more fouls because the Nuggets scored all their points in the paint whereas the Mavs score from jumpshots. If you want more free throws drive to the hoop more.

That's just rhetoric based on stereotypes. There were shooting fouls, loose ball fouls, and other kinds of fouls that were only called one way.

It just doesn't make any sense that the more aggressive, physical team gets called for eleven fewer fouls. That's a boatload.

Lastly, teams adjust for what refs throw them. If they are rewarded for driving the paint, they'll drive more. If they're beaten to a pulp with no call, they'll try something else. Both teams knew their place by the second half.
