The communism in our history is just capitalism where the income tax is extremely severe for the rich. TRUE communism doesn't involve ANY money at all. A moneyless system where the slave labor is very light (2 hours a day max) CAN coincide with capitalism and it can even eliminate almost ALL taxes, making capitalism very rewarding.
the only way to truly eliminate poverty is to start building government communes where the poor can live completely self-sufficiently. we'd have to convert and cut spending from something like the military and buy up land to use for free housing for the poor. we'd also have to give tax breaks to big businesses that help enable the communes to produce their own food, clothing, shelter, supplies, utilities, transit, manufacturing, etc. It's not communism b/c there'd be no distribution of money.
