Interesting. In Disney World Orlando, the Fairy Godmother is a face character (no mask, like Cinderella there), but here she is a non-face character. I wonder why that is?
after watchin this 30 times.. what happened was when the fairy god mother came in- at 1.13 the mice gave her the black choker, then the rags n the longer wig comes off.. but 3 seconds is a record!! maybe madonna or britany should learn some tricks from cinderella!!
she had the choker in her apron pocket, there's an entire video about the transformation, just search The Secret Of Cinderella Transformation, something like that.
Better question: How did she get her hair changed that quick? She drifts outta that smoke rather quickly. Her hair looks different in both peasant and princess mode.
The dress is obviously under the other. You can see the puffed in the sleeve and the hoop skirt under the brown that normally wouldn't be there for that costume. Also the hair in the back is hanging from the scarf and the other wig is showing in the front (bangs) and the rest under the scarf. It is a very fast change though!
does anybody know how it works? because i am in a show right now where I turn from an ugly old witch to a beautiful young witch on stage in about three seconds and we are trying everything to get it to work. If anybody could tell me how this works it would be great! Thanks!
its an old kabuki theatre trick where the costume is tethered to fishing line and there are several people under the stage that all pull at the same time. The modern touch is hydrolics that pump up the wig and the sides of the gown.
yes I was the witch. the show just got over it's very sad I really loved that part and the whole show. I got really into the character I made a background story and everything. someday soon I hope to put it on youtube. Congrats on getting the baker!!!

@nolessaman I don't think it's hydrolics that pump up the wig, the wig is already done up, that's why the scarf on her head looks so poofy.
