i don't see the point in buying anything else than a i7 920 why, well becuase you spend 800 more dollars on .7ghz when you can over clock with i7 920 to 4.5hz air and plus with the money your saving you can buy a shit load of dry ice refrigirated water cooling or an entire tanker worth of liquid nitrogen, ok maybe 200 gallons

But the high end CPUs really are worth it if you're folding, rendering, encoding etc.

Why not buy a golden i7 chip (I believe these are modified 930's) that will overclock to 220+ BCLK (4.6GHz+) depending on your cooler and hardware, and will max out at temperatures of 82c on full load! Not, most likely between 120+c on start up like with yours. I bet if you sold yours and replaced it with this more cheaper alternative. Your temps would be nowhere near 197c at the clock speed you are running at, especially with that very ingenious CPU cooler!
