@kaaaaash this is probably because the device that you are trying to put songs is not authorised to use on your computer. If this is the case you need to open up iTunes first then at the top click on "store" then click on "Authorise This Computer..." then put your details and authorise it. Also make sure on your device page you tick the box where it says manage music manually. Thanks I hoped this has helped.

In my iTunes library some of my songs have an exclamation mark next to them and for some reason when I try to drag them to my iPod it does not let me. Please help!

@GSVideos100 the reason it has an exclamation mark is because you have moved/deleted the original files of the songs from when it was. To fix this you need to put the songs back where it was or deleted everything from your iTunes library and import all the songs from to your iTunes library again. Hoped so this has helped. Thanks.

@vanalove10 I have never heard of that, but just try making sure that the file that you are trying to put on itunes is actually on the computer not and a external hard drive. If you still have problems then call 0844 209 0611 which is the apple technical support and they will be able to help you. NOTE that the number that I provided you is a number to call from UK only if you live in a different country then please google the "apple support contact number"/of your country. Thank you.

you can upload any songs you want but if you have an external hard drive then after you put your song on to your itunes your hard drive needs to be plugged in to play your songs on itunes, because itunes is just a link.
