My city has about 500,000 people in it now and encompasses about half of a map. I'm having problems with traffic and its seriously limiting my cities growth. No body wants to use the metro or bus lines I give them, and building wider roads and avenues isn't doing crap.

You porbably fixed it already - but To fix the d3dx9_38.dll Check to make sure it's in there (search for it in Steam folder) if not - reinstall - if that doesn't work or u don't want to\can't reinstall then Find the .exe and Fiddle with Compatability and Administrator. It will work eventually, all games do. I got Just cause 2 to work on an XP using those methods.

I'ts not the game thats slow, it's your computer. The game has pretty high requirements and if you have the graphic settings on high, it's understandable that it's slow.

It was a problem after they launched the game, they fixed this issue with a patch.

Man, i started out quite well for my first time, the economic was in a good shape (~7000$) and every citizens was happy. Until i reached 5.000 population when you can get advanced buildings. My economic situation crashed with a downward trend as soon as i started to place out power plants and other stuff. I went from 7000$ to -7000$. Yet i have not a clue why this happen, my town is bleeding and i fear if start playing on that save it will get worse. Help someone?
