@XLRO8 Jak and Daxter (well the first one anyway) I feel was pretty easy. Then again, I grew up on the N64 and got used to all of those 3D "Collect-a-thon" Platformers. Jak 2 on the other hand, yes, fun but hard.

i hav to disagree while its good for games to keep a consistant challenge there's nothing wrong with making a hard game. challenge brings the drive in people to persevere and its one of the reasons they made games that way, why do you think there are bullet hell games, they are CERTAINLY brutal yet people enjoy them. this is why johnny admits to being in the minority of disliking lost levels.

My type of fun but rewarding is getting the big boss emblems or playing the original Kingdom Hearts on the hard difficulty without level grinding. Especally the battles in the latter got so insane fast and hard but so adrenaline inducing and awesome.
