I never understood Chimney Imp's mana cost. I understand that some cards are better than others, but most bad cards are only overcosted by 1 mana or MAYBE 2.

But hell, I wouldn't play Chimney Imp if he was only 1B.

Compare this guy to Ravenous Rats or Mesmeric Fiend or Hyppie. Christ, for the same converted mana cost I can get a Spirit Monger...just makes no sense.
