Per quanti flautisti - e altri musicisti - io abbia ascoltato, non ho trovato nessuno che suona in questo modo. Troppi gli elementi che concorrono a un'esecuzione come questa: talento innato, tecnica così perfetta da far dimenticare che dietro ogni esecuzione c'è un problema di tecnica, tenuta del fiato, cultura generale profondissima, cultura musicale altrettanto vasta, gusto per la vita, sensualità e tenerezza, amore per gli esseri umani e per l'universo intero. Complimenti, grande flautista!

Unique mario! I`ve listened to you in live this spring in Slovenia flute festival - I am still under impression...all flutist on one side - mario on the other - brilliant and unique!

Wondeful fultist. I listened to Rhonda Larson's performance and it sounds totally different from what Mr Caroli is playing?

Confused. Are there different versions of Marai's composition?

Intended to purchase the sheet music but Caroli's version is totally different from Rhonda Larson's interpretation?

@principalflutist - The piece is one and the same. .. :) Rhonda was simply interpreting in a manner very typical to herself. Also, the recording quality of Rhonda's performance is lacking.

This, I have to say, could quite possibly be one of the most beautiful flute performances I have EVER heard. It literally took my breath away....and it would be indecent to describe what I was feeling during some of it. Just wow....absolutely AMAZING!!!!
