  • Europe has all the cool bikes, all we care is bigger is better that's why they are ahead of us in motorcycle racing.

  • how bout rolands hat!!! the emblem is sewn around the corner so you can wear the hat sideways (gangsta) and the emblem will then be in front. that roland is the man. LOL.....

  • she almost screamed wape at 2:04!

  • Err, so what do you mean?

  • good news every1! i have finished building my Yamah 450f race bike! it's mint! and goes like s**t

  • That looks like a ton of fun. I wouldn't call it cheap though. I'll stick with my $4k race prepped SV650 that will last 10x longer without a rebuild than the 450 engine.

  • The AMA is the people in the first place that placed the displacement limitis that were all screwed up. First it was 250 2-strokes could race with 550 four strokes, not 500s then they limited it to 450 which makes no sense at all. The AMA has to make sure that the big sponsors keep winning, if you ask me it's not what racing is about.

  • Knowing the AMA they will probably keep putting restrictions on this class until it will be just like AMA moto and supercross, only the big boys with all the money can be competative. Continued......

  • Looks very cool, only problem will be the cost of rebuilds, Ever considered the fact that some people put CR 500 engines into CR 250 chassis though?

Would be fun on the right road and the rebuilds would be OK as well.

  • Doing one of these now. RSD has done one. Couldn't stop thinking about how fun it would be, so I had to make one! Gonna be fairly simple, and the single most expensive component is my HID-light-ready stator! Doing 1998 CR250 frame w/ 1995 CR500 motor!

  • This is awesome! hopefully this series follows through and takes off!

  • 10k for a race prepped bike is NOTHING!

  • TRUTH!!!!!

  • C LE MEILLEUR J'EN VEUX UNE

  • I've always wanted to make the switch from shifter karts to bikes, looks like this is the ideal way to make the jump. This is too awesome except for the $10,000 price tag. That's a little steep for what is essentially a beginner class, not to mention the cost of racing when you factor in a 10 race national AMA season (if it happens). Hopefully they set up regional series for this class.

  • Yeah, but that's $10K if you start with a new bike and new parts. Get a used bike and buy the other bits on ebay and you can probably cut that in half.
