  • I LOVE YOU SO MUCH. THANK YOU. Melissa Cross (yeah, it's really me). Call me and I will tell you personally how much I love what you did!!

  • @odietamo72856 This really is Melissa Cross - REALLY! :)

  • @melissacrosstv

The real Melissa Cross has seen my video? I'm honored! Unfortunately I haven't been practicing my screaming like I should have been, but I have improved since this video :)

  • 2:09-2:13: SEXAY

  • So if you can already scream, like I'm self taught, should I pretty much just watch the 2nd ZOS?

  • @XxRobxX1035

I would personally say that having both DVDs would be a good idea because even if you're self taught, there may be lessons that you could learn from the first dvd.

Then again, you know your own skill better than I do, so you may decide to skip to the second dvd. One problem with that though is that there's a lot of references to the first dvd in ZOS2, and the lessons may not be as effective because of that.

    Lovely. o.O Aha.

  • Bros, th first DVD is just warm up exercises, yo will not have any learning of actual screaming in that one, you have to get the Zen of Screaming 2 to really get trained in that matter.

  • no king of the hill references? really?

  • @fbrdj

As funny as King of the Hill references are, I can't really afford to make them in all of my videos ;)

  • i think u guys should upload the video to youtube : )

  • Thanks lots wasn't sure whether to get the video because I'm new to it and didn't know whether this would be something that could actually work, but I'll give it a try. Thanks a lot and congrats on your progression! :)

  • Do you need to know how to scream ahead of time or does this teach you how to scream.

And I need to know does it hurt?

  • @ThatSniperKid

I think it helps to have some before hand knowledge. I consider ZOS to be a teaching tool, and as such shouldn't be your only source of information.

That being said, I started off with limited screaming knowledge, and the screaming I did sucked and often times I hurt myself and I could taste blood sometimes. This is why it's important to learn the proper screaming techniques.

In ZOS1, you learn proper breathing, and in ZOS2 you build upon ZOS1 with more advanced techniques.

  • So could u do high screams after both zos and zos2 still not sure...

  • @ThatSniperKid

You can see my results after watching both DVDs at 8:55. Although my voice isn't as great as most screamers, you also have to take into consideration that I am still relatively new to screaming; just like just about any instrument, learning to scream takes time, effort, and commitment.

I'm sure if I practiced every day and constantly researched techniques and whatnot I'd sound a lot better, but that is how I sound after what research I have done.

  • @ThatSniperKid

Another thing that I'd like to mention is that if you're new and using the proper techniques, you might still feel a little tenderness and a slight scratchy feeling. This is normal because the muscles for screaming weren't often used previously.

If you're looking for tutorials, here are some people on YouTube that I recommend (In order of my personal favorites):

    1) Etienne Sin's Scream School

    2) MetalIsMyMiddleName

    3) HowToScream

    4) EdwardExecution

    5) xcxBallaBoyxcx

  • @DaleStrickland2 yeh but I am afraid I will ruin my voice do to screaming and I don't want to. If screaming will ruin my voice no matter what I dun want to

  • Nice shirt!!!
