I didn't have sex til I was old enough to work and drive teens should be at that age 17 when they can work if they ever get pregnant. @xxQueenxBitxhxx When I read her poem, I cried too, being as I went through the same thing, except I was only twelve when I became pregnant with my first (and had her about two weeks after the day I turned thirteen), and thirteen when I became pregnant with my second (I had her about two weeks before I turned fourteen), and am now twenty five weeks and two days pregnant with twin girls...my children are my life! I honestly don't know what I would do without them.
@xxQueenxBitxhxx I will tell you that being a single teen mother is hard, but if I can be a great mother to two (about to be four) precious angels at fifteen, you can do it at seventeen. It may not be easy, nor will it be fun...but you can do it, and it WILL be worth it, I promise you! I would recommend against giving your baby up for adoption. God doesn't give you anything you can't handle, so honey, obviously God sees that you are ready to become a mother.

I was 14 when I got pregnant and just turned 15 when I had my baby girl Angel. My parents DID NOT like the fact that I was having a baby. But giving my baby up for Adoption was NOT an option for me. I did not care what anybody said. I didnt know what kind of family my baby would be going to I only had a 50/50 chance that my baby would be safe an taken care of. But one thing I KNEWwas my baby would be 100% safe with me. Open Adoption or not. I KNEW!! But I LOVE this poem!

I had my first child at 18 and another at 21. I almost gave both of them up for adoption. I ended up keeping both of them, however, I commend you for what you did. Keeping my children means 3 hours of sleep a night. I go to school full time work full time and take care of my boys. I dont sleep i only gained 4 pounds my second pregnancy and had to have both by c-section. My life is not that of a normal 22 year old. I dont chill or party. I barely breathe.
Adoption is a wonderful option if you compare it with abortion... Abortion is killing another human being, while adoption is giving your child a chance if you REALLY cannot take care of it. I'm adopted. My birth mom had no money and was already trying to raise 3 kids. When she got pregnant with my twin and I she knew right away that adoption was the best option. It was tough but she did it out of strength and love. I'm so thankful for my life and to not be in that poor circumstance. My parents adopted us after they already had 7 children. There is nine of us but my parents are comfortable and able to support all of us.

I didn't have sex til I was old enough to work and drive teens should be at that age 17 when they can work if they ever get pregnant. @xxQueenxBitxhxx When I read her poem, I cried too, being as I went through the same thing, except I was only twelve when I became pregnant with my first (and had her about two weeks after the day I turned thirteen), and thirteen when I became pregnant with my second (I had her about two weeks before I turned fourteen), and am now twenty five weeks and two days pregnant with twin girls...my children are my life! I honestly don't know what I would do without them.

It may not be easy, nor will it be fun...but you can do it, and it WILL be worth it, I promise you! I would recommend against giving your baby up for adoption. God doesn't give you anything you can't handle, so honey, obviously God sees that you are ready to become a mother.

I did not care what anybody said. I didnt know what kind of family my baby would be going to I only had a 50/50 chance that my baby would be safe an taken care of. Giveing your baby up for adoption is probably the best choice you could have made, especially being so young. I commend you for your choice, your a very strong girl.

I had my first child at 18 and another at 21. I almost gave both of them up for adoption. I ended up keeping both of them, however, I commend you for what you did. Keeping my children means 3 hours of sleep a night. I go to school full time work full time and take care of my boys. I dont sleep i only gained 4 pounds my second pregnancy and had to have both by c-section. My life is not that of a normal 22 year old. I dont chill or party. I barely breathe.

Adoption is a wonderful option if you compare it with abortion... Abortion is killing another human being, while adoption is giving your child a chance if you REALLY cannot take care of it. Although, if you don't have to life on the streets, it's better for both you and the child if you keep it. I would never give my child away, and definitely NOT kill it by abortion!

In the 80'smost all12th graders had had sex but parents and schools then didn't make it easy like we've done for our kids. I'm just as guility of that as any parent today because my 17 year old is preganant. We hold Gods Word to be true and it say sex is for man and wife only. But what's done is done. This is a beautiful and touching poem, it really is. I don't think anyone should judge teen parents, yes, its a mistake, but you really don't know how hard it is. I mean, I've never been pregnant or anything, but I can imagine how hard it must be to deal with and since you haven't been in that situation, no one shhould judge teen parents. im 18 and have a 6 month old.. i love her with all my heart.. i am not as young as most teen moms but the struggle is the same. all i can say is that the mothers who know they cannot support their kids and decide to put em up for adoption are strong.. and despite what other people think are doing the best for their kids because they love em. all you pregnant teens just stay strong and finish school!!

I am pregnant, and 15. Im keeping my baby, i couldnt dream of giving him/her up. I love him/her so much already. Im only 15 weeks, so were not sure what it is yet. But i was on birth control, and my boyfriend did use a condom, so we belive God did this for a reason. Was it hard giving him up for adoption?

wow, very inspirinq. i have so many thouqhts on this. i'm not qonna lie, both qood and bad. qood because she did what she had to do, and i understand why she put Caleb up for adoption. But at the same time, bad because is she thouqht she was qrown enouqh to spread her leqs and have sex, she should be qrown enouqh to handle te consequences. I am 17 and preqnant, and already love my baby more than anythinq. I would NEVER qive him/her up. But I like this video. :) And the poem. I hope it publishes.

no pregnancy is a mistake, unless u are a selfish drug addict that doesnt deserve to be a mother/father...if you are able to get pregnant and have sex u ARE able to take the role of a mother, no matter how young you arre,, there are many resorces out there to help you. abortion is killing. no matter what the doctor says.. by calling it a "product" its still a baby, its part of you, and it deserves a life too. Being a teen mom is hard, but not impossible, you made the decision to have sex.

If you cannot give that child what it needs and someone else can, don't be selfish. Don't make your decision based on your feelings and if YOU can handle... do what's best for the child. And do it because you love him/her and want what's best for them. This should also be what's best for you in the end.

I'm adopted. My birth mom had no money and was already trying to raise 3 kids. When she got pregnant with my twin and I she knew right away that adoption was the best option. It was tough but she did it out of strength and love. I'm so thankful for my life and to not be in that poor circumstance. My parents adopted us after they already had 7 children. There is nine of us but my parents are comfortable and able to support all of us.

@TRXlove1517 Hang in there. Not meaning 2 make it sound easy, but ur life's not over. It's an obstacle to face, but ur never truly alone. I'll extend a prayer to u and other young girls going through the same thing. It's sad when the guy doesn't man up and help take responsibility for the child, but he, like every other guy, will have to grow up at some point down the road when they decide to have families. I'm 17 years old and just over 3 months pregnant. Bit different for you since you are 14, slept with a stranger & your family didn't support you, but I would die before giving my baby away. Kudos to you, you made such a hard, brave decision & gave a little miracle to a couple who have no other hope. Very admirable as said below, must have taken quite a bit of courage. <3
