I agree with bigbzon, A quick death is a better death. Listening to the cries of a baby mouse is horrible. Even though i been my stuff mice and all , i don't just let the rat sit there and struggle.. and cry and all that, i make sure it's instant. Feeding rats to snakes alot different then frogs... frogs cant really kill rats that easy, plus it's bad for the frog feeding live rats cuz the rat can bite and hurt your frog like that one was doing. A snake does it simple and quick.

i own both, 1 pacman frog, 1 ball python, and used to own 1 corn snake. they take about the same amount of time to kill the rat or mouse. though i will admit the frog is much "sloppier" about it and more likely to be bitten in the process. i just started feeding my frog prekilled. these things are so stupid i doubt it has any idea. the snake however will not touch what is already dead.
