Just happened to me for the first time. I was dreaming and It felt and sounded like was hit twice in the back of the head with a basketball at which point I 'woke up' but could not move any muscle at all. All i could do was breathe faster, I couldnt even yell.. Scary. Thank god there were no hallucinations and thank god that it only lasted 5 seconds!! Happened 20 minutes into a light nap (I never nap)
Never sleep facing the wall right beside you while your knees are bent almost touching the wall . It happens to me alot when i do that. Anyone having the same situation or tried it recently and got a paralysis?
@FR33STYL3RAPPR Well, i used to get sleep paralysis(from when I was very very young till I was 18). I would have a fear of facing away from where there is no wall. ...It's as though if I faced towards the wall I would leave part of myself very vulnerable and of course would not be facing that way. ...Had to cover my head with blanket to "protect" me... because always felt like something creepy was going to get me... horrible feeling.
Your wrong about the breathing. Don't ever think about your breathing because once your aware of it while your in sleep paralasys you start FREAKING OUT!!! Because it is so hard to breath and you feel like your suffocating!!! It's like how your not really aware that your even beathing until you think about it and have to knowinly do it, and this is while awake. NEVER SLEEP FACE DOWN OR NEVER EVER SLEEP ON YOUR BACK!!!
An easy way to snap yourself out of it is to 1.close your eyes reminding yourself its not real....2.take real deep breaths, this reminds your brain you still have control over your body, 10 to 15 seconds later you should be free
@dfer159632 i have hallucinated seeing children by my bedside the past two nights. i get sleep paralysis all the time but the past two night have scared me more tahn anything in my life. i don't do what you said, i physically shake myself out of it and eventually gain control of the rest of my body starting with the outermost parts of my body, ie:hands, feet and head.
@JMXCOF666 Any time it happens, relax and very breath deeply(<<<very important) for about 5-10 seconds and you'll wake up. It disrupts the breathing pattern, like when you sleep and your breathing is always the same, changing the pattern will let the body realise you're mind is awake.
I've had experiences, though unlike the video, that have been very realistic, almost too realistic. It's a very scary thing, and not a laughing matter.Hallucinations making it feel like you're there, like you're the one that's acting unwillingly, haunting you even when you're awake, fearful of sleeping the next night... waiting, willing for it to come, daring it to... Sometimes you cannot breathe, trapped in your own body, a voice whispering in your mind... feels like your skull caving in....
@Biocide113 Hey, does anything trigger sleep paralysis or does it just happen to everyone at some point? And I noticed you posted your comment 4 months ago, have you had any more of these?
I had this a year or two ago. More than several cases of which I had hallucinations. Unbelievably scary, and I still am scared to go to sleep, sometimes I even dare it to come back and wait for it to do so. I've never had hallucinations like those shown in the video, but they are life-like and not a funny matter. Sometimes it feels like something's shattering your skull, locking yourself in your own body.... other times you cannot breathe....
ive had SP when i was younger, i dont remember an old hag , but i did see a hooded/ grim reaper looking thing stand at the side of my bed. theres no fear that can compare to SP, i dont know how some ppl can deal with SP on a weekly basis, fuck that lol
for 3 years as a child growing up arond the ages of 10-13, i had sleep paralysis and had visions of a lady in black or white, ive gotten older now, and honestly after learning to control it, im somehow having visions of astral projection, it is pretty scary if you dont know how to deal with it, growing up, i hated going to sleep knowign shed wait for me :/ its not cheesy and this is very real
ive had sleep paralysis off and on for many years myself. i had 1 incredible experience that changed me.i thought i was being approached like a few times b4 as i was paralyzed and tried to lash out with everything i could muster on one occasion.was immediately electrified.my eyes opened and i was staring straight up at a black box with a halo around it.it seemed to talk in speech that was stringed together w/o any breaking- all foreign.was eventually released after 30sec tho. never the same.

@711mind You are literally paralyzed by the signals sent to your body by the brain in order to prevent such sleep walking.

In SP that demon is called Shawdow Man.
And does not relate to anything like the devil.
It's actully owned by an old lady that is small, but really heavy when she sits on top of your chest.
