Wtf is everyone's problem with this movie?!?!? It's hard to find ONE positive review of it.. I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!! THE ACTING IS SUPERB!!!

Besides, had it been more "realistic," it wouldn't have a point nor be all that entertaining.. '90s classic.

If you live ON the continent of North America, you can be damned sure to experience somewhere here, a tornado.

The United States: man they get hit something fierce; Canada - hell yeah! they've had some doozies but with 10% population of the U.S.A. - many twisters cause zero loss of life.

Good movie! Interesting trailer to say the least. I've been in (2) tornado warnings in my life: they're never the same way twice!

I remember seeing this and just when the audience was getting a little annoyed with the slightly cheap looking family-in-peril sequence (the slow strobe thing in particular), they freaked everybody out with that last bit. I heard more than one "HOLY SHIT!" in the audience that night.

the animators and other people created that clip before production of TWISTER to prove they could computer generate a tornado that looked realistic.
