Abortion really depends on if you value human life or not, of course for many atheists, they see human life as objectively meaningless, so abortion is perfectly acceptable. Basically during abortion, it's as if whatever those needles are that touch that child actually is touching raw nerves. It seems like still a lot of people don't understand that. There's such a battle between life and choice, and a child should never be a choice. Some of those babies in the NICU probably survived abortion. Being in the NICU allowed me to see just how human these babies are. I would often speak to the nurses, in which many are pro-life because of what they've seen, and they would actually say any time they give a premature, their pain receptors actually top the scale. As a patient we are given a level of one to ten on a pain scale, but their pain can actually double compared to ours. The reason for this is because these babies don't have the protection of their skin, like we do.

It's true. Preemies feel more pain than fullterm babies. In the NICU they stick pain sensor's onto their skin. For lot's of them even a gentle touch can be painful. My daughter was premature, but she was born at 28 weeks, so thankfully she did not have to experience touch being painful as some preemies.  Unfortunately though some 28 weekers are aborted too. That's something that only someone whose been there would see.

I know a couple of friends that had abortions and they use that as a method of birth control it's sad because we were all once that fetus what makes people feel better to call a new life. yeah, that's true i got pregnant when i was 19, im not a hypocrite.i had a thought of removing my baby because i was studying that time and my parents expect a lot to me,bcos i was sent in a very good school, BUT its not really right.. its a selfish act .. removing your baby inside .. so i made the right decision, even the father of my baby was not with me and denied me, i will have my baby no matter what!! she was a heaven sent she makes me happy everyday i never regret ^-^she's my angel..

I'm in the same situation. I'm 17 and 5 months pregnant. I've been eager to have kids though I'm very young.. So my older boyfriend made me pregnant, on purpose, and it was something we both wanted. When I told him that I was "feeling pregnant" he started to cry and told his closest friends. I don't understand what happened next. He started to deny that I was pregnant, even if the test came out positive. He's still denying me and is now an alcoholic :( But I'm keeping my child no matter what..
