Anyway the "bad" plastic ones you showed first are really intended for light mounting of things in concrete and block walls and they arent really designed for hollow wall, even though retail packages state they can be used for it. Also if yoy use a nail for a probe, run the point across a file or snadpaper to take the sharp tip off - you still probe with it but you dont puncture wiring and piping (bad news for plastic water supply pipes)
At 5:45 he says he's already made a pilot hole and then he screws in an anchor without a pilot hole.....wtf? Do we need a hole or not?

Check out the new SnapSkru Self-Drilling Drywall Anchors. Much stronger than the old fashioned screw anchors.
