If he could take a tazer to the face with almost no reaction shooting him in the arm would have little to no effect. And you try hitting someone in the knee or shoulder one time before he can hit your friend who is 8feet away from him (one step/1.5 seconds)

He did not fall and get shot again. He got shot the first 5 times and was still standing. Then he is shot again and falls. Read point #3 by notabagel123. When approached with deadly force be it just to scare you or true intent to kill ANYONE, not just officers, have the right to defend themselfs with deadly force. Officers have to insure everyone is safe and if he was allowed to walk he might have hurt or killed someone else.

3. It's kind of hard to just "aim" for a paticular part of a body. If they did aim for the legs, they could have missed and hit a bystander. The reason they aim for the torso is because there's more space that you can hit and a higher chance of hitting the target.

4. The reason he didn't react to being tazed is because he was on drugs. That's probably the reason the officer checked his bag after he was shot.

1. Laughter is one of the initial reactions of fear. You can notice that after he's been shot they really don't say anything.

2. We can only see through the eyes of the person recording and the car was in the way. So maybe the shots missed and the other officer shot again. Even if they didn't, in the heat of the moment,
